- School of Planning & Architecture (SPA), Delhi and Jamia Millia Islamia (JMI) have signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to promote advanced research and training in the field of urban planning and urban design.

SPA Delhi Admission Overview 2025
SPA Delhi admissions are based on entrance test or merit of the candidates. The institute accepts scores in JEE Main Paper-II, GATE, CEED, etc. for specific courses. The selection criteria varies course-wise. The institute offers over six programmes at the UG, PG and doctoral levels. Candidates who have passed a master's degree in any of the courses conducted by the School/ Integrated master's degree course or its equivalent with at least 60% aggregate or equivalent GPA are eligible to apply for the PhD programme. Aspirants who have passed B.Arch, BPlan or Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering or its equivalent with at least 80% or 8.0 GPA or equivalent grade with at least three years experience can also apply.
SPA Delhi facilitates foreign candidates admissions to BPlan via DASA. As per the available cutoff data, the round one closing rank for BPlan admissions 2022 via DASA stood at 4 for the general category candidates belonging to All India Quota seats. In 2021, the cutoff for the General AI quota students stood at 10.

SPA Delhi Admission Process 2025
SPA Delhi course admission 2025 is based on various entrance exam scores. Candidates have to get through all the selection rounds of the respective course to get a seat in SPA Delhi. The admission process involves application form, an entrance exam, followed by counselling or an interview (for some courses), cutoff release, and seat allotment.
STEP 1: SPA Delhi Application Process 2025
The SPA Delhi application process is carried out in online mode. Visit the official website at http://spa.ac.in/. The application process is inclusive of multiple steps. Aspirants also need to apply for JAAP PG for admission to PG programmes.
STEP 2: SPA Delhi Selection Criteria
After the application window is closed, aspirants are required to go through the course-specific entrance exam followed by other selection rounds (if applicable). For some courses, admission is granted based on the last qualifying examination. Some of the entrance exams accepted by the college are GATE/ CEED/ UGC NET, JEE Main/ NATA/ DASA UG etc. After the application process, the college announces course-wise cutoff marks or may release a rank list.
STEP 3: Counselling
Candidates seeking admission to the SPA Delhi course are admitted based on merit in accepting exam counselling bodies. Selected candidates also have to go through a round of counselling. The rounds of counselling are conducted until all the seats are allocated. Aspirants seeking admission in PG programmes have to participate in JAAP PG rounds for seat allotment.

For BArch at SPA Delhi, the applicant must have a minimum of 50% aggregate in Class 12 examinations with Mathematics as a compulsory subject.
