A review of Sir Padampat Singhania University.
Placements: Placements in the college are not satisfactory. Our college publishes false news regarding placements. They don't even check the background of the recruiters that are visiting our campus for placement drives. The college doesn't provide any training or internship opportunities even though JK Cements owns it. The university failed regarding ROI.
Infrastructure: Our college provides excellent hostel facilities. It also provides Wi-Fi and internet access. Labs are nice, and the library is good. The college provides good mess facilities. Classrooms are good. Our college doesn't provide facilities like gym and swimming pool. The playground is not in good condition. Cleanliness is satisfactory, and the college provides good water and electricity facilities.
Faculty: Teachers in the college are qualified but lack the motivation to teach students. They don't make the classes interesting. The course is monotonous and boring. The college doesn't provide exposure to industrial visits or guest lectures. They don't provide knowledge of the current industry trends. The college has no tie-ups with industries to train the next generation engineers.

It is a good university in terms of faculty, placements and infrastructure.
Placements: Companies like JK Cements, Ashok Leyland, IBM, Lhasa, Mindtree, Tech Mahindra, Infosys and ICICI are the major recruiters of our college. JK Cements offered the highest salary package of 6 LPA and the lowest salary package of 3 LPA. Depending on the academic percentage of students, they get internships in Japan, Dubai and some universities like Nebraska University.
Infrastructure: Wi-Fi facility provided in the college is good. There is free Wi-Fi available in the hostel rooms as well. There are highly technological mission labs. Sports clubs are also present. Digital classes are provided in the college. Food offered is not much good. There is no problem regarding the infrastructure. We are offered hygienic food in the canteen. Medical facilities are available on the campus for 24 hours.
Faculty: Faculty members in our college are highly qualified. They have been a part of NITs and IITs. They are very knowledgeable and explain the topics using general examples. We get industry exposure. There is no problem regarding the course curriculum. This course is very helpful for our higher education.
Other: Many events are organised only by the students by taking membership in the spotlight concern sale.

Spsu is a good place to explore yourself.
Placements: There is placements for all stream students mostly for computer engineering students but in mechanical and civil engineering the local companies of Udaipur come and take students. The average package for computer engineering students is 3.5 lacs per annum.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of sir padampat singhania University is too good, it has four girls hostel and five boys hostel and studio apartment and faculty homes and has a mess portion and a long acedemic area. The university has all the sports ground like football basketball etc. The campur is 24*7 in surveillance or guards which is provided by g4s security.
Faculty: The university has highly qualified faculty members, most of them are studied from IITS and NITS and they do there duties very good, in the semester period whole syllabus is covered by facuties, there are 2 mid term exam in a single semester and then an end term examination.

A honest review of Sir Padampat Singhania University.
Placements: The placement opportunities are average. Earlier the placement used to be better. The students can earn the first salary ranging from 15-25 KPM, but do not always expect to get relevant job profiles based on your specialisation. The companies like Maintec Technology, Paytm, JK Cement, Collabera, etc. conducted the recruitment drive in SPSU. Please do not believe the reports of 100 percent placement as they make you sit in the placements in the below average companies to make their record look good. There is a big favouritism policy in the college. So, do not think about good internship opportunities from the college unless you are the beloved ones of the management. They make you pay for the certification courses and make you sit in the companies you don't want to be a part of.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of the college is average. Earlier it used to be better, but with the dramatic decrease in the number, the quality has decreased. If the students enrolling in the college, the campus is not well taken care of. The classrooms are spacious and the labs are fully air-conditioned. The Wi-Fi is good. The library is good. Probably two good things about SPSU that is the mess food is average, and the canteen food is average and not very cheap. The hostel rooms are spacious. However the cleanliness of the bathrooms can be a huge issue most of the times. Certainly not worth the hostel fee. The availability of hot water can be an issue as they like to save electricity. The medical facility is horrible. There is a compounder in the campus, and he will provide you with first aid. However, if you are looking for prompt emergency medical assistance for an emergency situation, then I wish you good luck. The Udaipur city is 40 kilometres away. They take you to a nearby village in a government hospital with bad medical facilities (only if you are lucky enough to get a college van). The availability of the van depends on the factors like the need for wardens' approval who by the way wants you to be in their rooms to prove that you are sick and need medical assistance. Doesn't matter if you aren't in a position to even walk. Also, the van availability depends on the availability of the driver, the fuel or if there is a member of the authority who needs to be dropped off to their homes from the office which is 500 meters away. The medical need is trivial and secondary matter in SPSU.
Faculty: The faculty members were helpful if you have the capability to feed their egos. Most of them are insincere and like to hold grudges against the students to provoke them and humiliate them. They consider themselves much superior to the students. Some of the wardens are disorganised, biased and aggressive. Some of them behave like uneducated people and like to raise their voices and get aggressive at trivial matters. They like to look for the reasons to call up your parents and complain them about trivial things by exaggerating them. They hardly care about the students. They are in a very comfortable state and they don't like to get involved in the serious matters and issues of the hostel. They are very insincere towards their jobs. Some faculty members are helpful and sincere, and they are the ones who aren't in the limelight. The rest are crooked personalities. There is a mandatory industrial internship after the sixth semester. There is a so-called student management council that has the members who like to plan and plot and convey every single little thing to the management to make the students look bad. They are the informers with a bad intention. They get high support from the management and their job is to suppress all the other students in the college from participating in the events and rising to any opportunity.
Other: I have much in my mind to say about SPSU. Even 1000 words won't be enough. I could write a book on my experience. I have spent more than 6 years in the college, so I am sure that there aren't many people who know more about this college than I do. It's a place full of misguided and insincere people. A few good people who enrol will be crushed soon. The management is poor and likes to make a lot of money out of the students. They won't miss the chances to charge you a lot of money for the different things. I would not recommend SPSU for anyone in the wildest of my dreams. Please join the college if you have much money and you don't care about the learning and developing. If you like to party and waste your time and love to do dirty politics and you're good at it, then this is certainly the place for you. Good luck.

I am not satisfied with the college as the placement was poor.
Placements: Placement of the senior batch and our batch was poor as most of the companies which visited offered jobs in other sectors. Only a few companies came which offered an average package. Real-estate companies also came for recruitment which were off the track placement offers. A company came which offered placement outside India but the placement was in some African country.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of the college was very good. The facilities like Internet was very good and the speed was really good. The furniture provided in hostels were good with good bed and mattresses and table and chair. But there were various shortcomings like in the library, books which were needed were not available and if there were any, then only a few were available. Medical facilities were available at the campus and the doctor used to visit in the evening. There is a football ground in the college.
Faculty: The ratio of faculty to students was good. Teachers used to teach both on-board and projectors for a better understanding of the topics. But the knowledge was not sufficient as required was not there. We needed help in projects for some competition at another college but none of them were able to help the basic programing of circuits.

Absolutely dissatisfied because of the placements.
Placements: Placements are hopeless. There is no proper structure, no placement cell or proper corporate relations cell. Even if 1 or 2 companies visit, they offer very poor profiles or either turn out to be fake. The University distances itself from the placements. In a nut shell, no placements at all.
Infrastructure: The campus is pretty decent relatively. It is spread over 108 acres. The only problem is that it is situated far away from the city. The labs are not worthy to be called as labs at all. The library is ok. Medical facilities are hopeless. Sports facilities are good relatively.
Faculty: The faculty is pretty decent. They were good, helpful and knowledegable. They used standard teaching methods. The student to faculty ratio was around 60 students per 1 faculty. There was no industrial tours organised by the university. The student clubs at our time organised a couple of them.

The college is too expensive with fewer facilities. I would never recommend such a college.
Placements: Placements are very disappointing. Fake companies and students getting placed on the basis of off campus are referred to as college placements. Placement head doesn't have any knowledge regarding companies, he simply Googles it. So don't trust the placements here.
Infrastructure: The college looks good just from the outside. Wi-Fi is good sometimes and most of the time, the WiFi doesn't work for stupid reasons. Classrooms are okay but the fees are so high that at least a cooler was expected in the classroom. The library is smaller than a normal bookshop. In medical facilities, you can only expect a band aid and ambulance charges apply. Sports facilities: Cricket ground and football ground are common, what else do I need to say.
Faculty: Some of the faculty members are really good and knowledgeable. They are very supportive but some of them are good for nothing. They take rage over students for no valid reasons. I would rather choose to stay in the hostel but attendance matters. Some of the subjects make no sense with the selected stream. There is no industrial visit, workshops are good for nothing. Students themselves have to arrange everything and there is no such support from the college.

SPSU- Don't ruin your future.
Placements: There was no campus placement in our batch for mechanical students. At least not in the core area. Mostly mech students were offered profile for sales and marketing. The college did not conduct a fair for internships. In short, placements are a total sham in this college.
Infrastructure: Facilities are good. The classrooms and hostel rooms are better compared to other colleges. The only thing is they do not provide ACs in classrooms or hostel rooms. The canteen was fine. They have everything that a decent college requires but lacks in management.
Faculty: The faculty is good, mostly from NITs. The teaching method was of conventional style. Student to faculty ratio was fine but male to female ratio not defined. Industry exposure was none from the college side. The course was useful for some, I guess. They should come up with more practical on field industrial teaching rather than making us imagine things as in machine and making us understand it.
