SRM University has not yet released the placement data for M.Tech students. However, student review present on Shiksha provide students' opinions on the placement scenario. As per the review, the the highest package bagged by the M.Tech students during the recent placement drive stood at INR 54 LPA. Moreover, some of the organisations that have participated in the previous placement drives were Amazon, TCS, Tata, etc.

In the screening process, registered candidates are screened and shortlisted based on their performance in the entrance exams (GATE/SRMJEE PG).After that, shortlisted students are invited for an interview process. Following which, M.Tech seats are allocated based on the candidate's performance in the accepted entrance exam and the interview process.
