An average college for those who want just a degree.
Placements: 30-40% of students were placed in my course. They market 40 LPA as the highest package, but talking to some of my seniors, there are no such packages offered. Local companies recruit; they market themselves like big companies coming for recruitment, but I haven't witnessed that.
Infrastructure: The situation is very poor: no proper Wi-Fi and no proper system; they still use Windows 7, with broken mice and keyboards. The library is much better, having been renovated this year. The hostel quality was very poor, but it has improved. The canteen, medical facility, and sports and games are average.
Faculty: All teachers are average. They are often active students of a Master's program or have just completed their Master's degree. Exams are not particularly difficult, with an 80%-90% pass percentage. As for the course curriculum, it's not very relevant; it's too outdated, as they still use Turbo C to teach coding.
Other: I chose this field because I love computers and programming. Labs and practical teaching can be improved. They organize events regularly, but I feel they are not very valuable for those truly interested in learning; there aren't many technical events.

Good placements and campus life, but the curriculum needs an update.
Placements: About 85% of students from my batch get placed, with the highest package at 18 LPA, the lowest at 3.5 LPA, and an average of 6.5 LPA. Top recruiters are TCS, Infosys, Accenture, and Capgemini. Around 70% get internships in firms like Wipro and Deloitte.
Infrastructure: The department offers modern labs, fast Wi-Fi, smart classrooms, and a well-stocked library. Hostels are clean and decent, the mess food is average, and there are good medical facilities. The campus also has sports grounds for cricket, badminton, and more.
Faculty: Faculty members are well-qualified, experienced, and always ready to help students. The curriculum is quite relevant to current industry standards, though it could include more practical exposure. Semester exams are moderately difficult, with a pass percentage of around 85-90%, making it manageable for most students who stay consistent with their studies.
Other: I chose this course out of interest in teaching and coding. The best parts are hands-on projects and good placement support. However, the curriculum could use more industry-updated content and better soft skill training. The campus has a vibrant crowd, decent fests, and good connectivity, but the infrastructure and extracurricular variety could be improved.

After all, if you are a person who is easy.
Placements: My batch has a total of 90 students when I was admitted to this university. The highest package of 50+ LPA has been mentioned in the uni prospectus. Well, the internship has been very less provided , and yes, the placements too. Companies like TCS , Google, IBM , and many more are seen.
Infrastructure: Every facility seems pretty decent and I have no complaints regarding it. Everything works perfectly fine for me in the uni premises. Hostel rooms have a total capacity of 5 people per room allotment and yes it is very good , no problem at my end.
Faculty: Not gonna lie , teachers are not okay. I can't cope up with them. The only concern of the college is that yes, the teachers are very helpful if any problem arises. You can always reach out to them. They will help you. The semester exams are just a piece of cake. It’s very easy.
Other: Lots and lots of events happening in the uni. No doubt

No words are enough to describe how unprofessional this college is.
Placements: If you want a college with good placement or proper education please don't come here as management and teaching experience of this college is the worst no company even know about this university and students are forced to take part in there startup programme given by university itself .
Infrastructure: No activities are held here broken benches, fans don't work, college transportation does not drop you on time. Canteen supply you poor quality food at expensive prices labs have broken instrument library does not even have books.
Faculty: Faculty members are very rude and use inappropriate language and abuse students. They have no teaching experience and are unprofessional here facyltu doesn't even solve any doubt.
Other: No events or activity are held here campus surrounding has nothing but forest and very risky route to college because road to campus is filled with snakes and Buffaloes.

The college was fine. I invested one of the best parts of my life here and learnt many things.
Placements: We were only the 2nd batch which passed out from this college and placements at that time were not that good. But, I hope the placements are good now. I got selected in a few companies, but I didn't prefer any of them. The highest salary package offered at that time was Rs. 20,000 per month. I think the flaw is in the Indian education system and not in the college as they are producing employees but not engineers. Overall, the college was nice.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of the college was nice. Various facilities like cafeteria, sports, placement, labs, and library, etc., are provided to students. There was no hostel at that time, but the food offered in the cafeteria was nice. I didn't face any infrastructure related problems. Quality of labs was nice, and there are good computers with fine faculty members.
Faculty: The best part about college was faculty. Teachers were very nice and supportive. Teaching quality was average. Visual, practical and theoretical methods were used for teaching. There were various industrial visits, and we have even visited ISRO once. The course curriculum is the worst of all Indian engineering colleges, and one should blame AICTE for that.

Q:   Can I get into SSIU with 70% in class 12th?
ShikshaGPT says
A:

Sure, I can help you with that.

Your chances of getting into SSIU with 70% in class 12th depend on the specific programme you are applying to and the competitiveness of the program. However, with a score of 70%, you may face some challenges in securing admission to highly competitive programs.

To increase your chances of getting into SSIU, you can focus on strengthening your overall application profile. This includes:

Achieving a strong score on the SNAP exam: The Symbiosis National Aptitude Test (SNAP) is the entrance exam for SSIU. A high SNAP score can significantly improve your chances of admission.

Demonstrating strong academic performance throughout your high school years: Consistent academic achievement reflects your dedication to studies and your ability to handle rigorous coursework.

Participating in extracurricular activities and community service: Extracurricular involvement showcases your well-roundedness and commitment to personal growth.

Crafting a compelling personal statement: Your personal statement provides an opportunity to highlight your unique qualities, experiences, and aspirations.

Preparing thoroughly for the Written Ability Test (WAT) and Personal Interview (PI): The WAT and PI are designed to assess your communication skills, critical thinking ability, and suitability for the program

While your 12th-grade percentage of 70% is respectable, it may not be sufficient to guarantee admission into SSIU's highly competitive MBA programs. The minimum cutoff for MBA at SSIU varies depending on the category of the candidate, with General category candidates typically requiring a percentile score of 90 to 92 on the SNAP exam.

However, admission into SSIU's MBA programs is not  based on 12th-grade marks. The selection process also considers the candidate's SNAP score, try to acheive good score SNAP exam if you want a admission.
