Symbiosis International Pune Admission 2026 Course, Fees, Eligibility and Selection

Symbiosis International Pune doesn't required CUET for admission. The deemd to be  uiversity conducts its own entrance exams  for admission to its UG and PG programme. However, its also accepts national level entrance exams such as JEE Main, MH CET, NEET, SLAT, etc. Additionally, candidates must aslo qualify the eligbility criteria, which are as follows:

The fee structure at the institute varies based on the chosen BBA course specialisation. There are a variety of components included in the total fees. However, the one-time fee cost is INR 20,000 for all the BBA courses. Below table mentions the SIU Pune BBA course-wise fee details:

• Admission to B.A LL.B & BBA LL.B Programs will be offered to candidates passing 10+2 with 45% marks. 
• Final Selection to these programs will be based on SLAT Entrance Test. 
• Selection to BBA, BCA & BA courses will be based on scores in SET Entrance Exam whereas selection to B.Des will be based on SEED Entrance Test Score.
• B.Tech. and B.Sc. programs are open for Graduates (Science Stream). However the selection will be based on JEE Main/SITEEE Score.
• However, the selection to the B.Sc. programme will be based on the SET Entrance Test/Entrance Test/Personal Interview.
• Admissions to the MBA programme are open for Graduates passing SNAP Entrance Test.

Admission to the M.Tech course requires Graduate (Relevant Stream) passing GATE/ SIT Entrance Exam.

Symbiosis International University conducts it's own entrance exam known as Symbiosis Entrance Test (SET) .SET is a gateway for students to get admission to various undergraduate courses such as Management, Law, Mass Communication, Computer Studies, Engineering, Economics, and Liberal Arts.

Candidates must have twelve years of school education with 45% aggregat is eligible for the BTech at Symbiosis International Pune. Also candidates are required to qualify the SIU based entrance exam SITEE for admission. Candidates with a valid score in JEE Main/ MHT CET are also qualified for admission. 

The institute or deemed university accept applications for the BBA course of the eligibility students only. Hence, the candidates who are Class 12 or equivalent exam pass with a minimum of 50% aggregate can apply. At the time of form filling and admission, aspirants must hold the pass certificate/mark sheet as well. The documents are required for verification purposes by SIU Pune. 

SNAP registration process is online at SNAP TEST website. Candidates will hve to fill the online SNAP application form at the exam website by creating a login ID. The SNAP fee payment will have to be made online while filling the application form. Candidates need to mention the number of attempts in a single form only. They also have to select the SIU colleges and courses for admission in the same form. The process of SNAP application form filling has been described below:

1. Go to SNAP Test website
2. Click on 'new registration' 
3.  Enter personal details, nationality, city, phone number and email ID
4.  Verify registration through OTP received
5. Login with the application number and password received in mail 
6. Select test cities and sessions 
7. Enter academic details and upload photo/scanned signature 
8. Pay the application fee to complete the process.

Symbiosis International (Deemed university) reserve seats for candidates belonging to SC/ST/Differently Abled and other such categories. There is a specific percentage of seat reservation for each category. Additionally, some of the seats can also be reserved for Kashmiri migrants and International students. There are a total of 480 seats for BBA courses at SIU Pune. This seat count is as per the official website/sanctioning body. It is still subject to changes and hence, is indicative. 

The UG-level programme (BSc and BSc Hons) is offered across different specialisations and through institutes/school of the deemed university. SIU Pune fees varies for each of the offered BSc course specialisation. The admission is granted based on Symbiosis Entrance Test scores only. Mentioned below are some of the BSc courses offered by the deemed university:

• BSc (Hons) in Medical Technology
• BSc in Culinary Arts
• BSc (Hons) in Economics
• BSc (Hons) in Radiotherapy
• BSc (Hons) in Liberal Arts, etc. 

Symbiosis National Aptitude (SNAP) Test, which is a cormmon entrance test is conducted on 3rd Sunday of December every year since December 2004. SNAP is only the first step in the process of admission to postgraduate programme. The admission depends upon many other parameters which includes - performance of the candidate in the entrance test and cut off percentile/ score obtained as decided by individual institutue, Group Excercie, Personal Interaction and Writing Ability Test (GE-PIWAT) wherever applicable.

Smbiosis Entrance Test (SET), which is a common entrance test for the admission of undergraduate programmes, is conducted on 1st Saturday of May every year. SET is a mandatory entrance test for admission to undergraduate programme at Symbiosis International Univesity.

i. All the candidates who have registered with the respective institute paid the registration fees and have obtained required SNAP/SET score will be shortlisted for institute specific selection process.

ii. Category-wise shortlisting is done online at secure portal of admission process in the ratio of 1:10 of the sanctioned intake and candidates eligible to be called for selection process (i.e. for 1 seat 10 candidates will be called to undergo the selection process).

iii) In accordance with the cut-off decided by the Director of the Institute, the designated officer of the institute will prepare the list of candidates above the cut-off point to be called for subsequent selection process through online admission portal and will submit the list of short listed candidates for Director's approval. The Director of the concerned institute checks and approves the list of shortlisted candidates and submits the same to the Vice Chancellor of the University through the Registrar for approval.

iv. The Registrar will obtain the approval of the Vice Chancellor to the list of shortlisted candidates and will sign off for declaration of shortlist thorough the online portal.

V. Category wise cut-off marks will be displayed on the Institute website.

The SIU Pune BBA course curriculum is inclusive of generic core courses, specialisation core courses, open electives, etc. Candidates get to learn basic to advance topics related to the field of Business Administration. Some of the generic core courses that are covered in this UG programme are:
