Tamil Nadu Open University offers two-year B.Ed Special Education in distance education mode through the Department of Special Education. Besides, the university also offers two-year B.Ed programme. However, the student-teacher is
permitted to complete within a maximum period of 5 years, after the enrolment.
The duration for B.Ed Spl.Ed is two-years for candidates with RCI recognised D.Ed Specialisation Education, Candidates can complete the programme within a maximum period of four years, after enrolment. For aspirants who does not possess any RCI recignised D.Ed Special Education, the duration of the course is two and a half years.
TNOU fees include multiple components, such as the tuition fee, hostel fee, etc. Caution fee is one-time payable at the time of admission. B.Ed admissions at TNOU start in January and generally go on till March. Candidates applying for admission should note that the TNOU admission process starts with the filling out of the application form. Tamil Nadu Open University MBA curriculum is divided into semester-pattern. Learners can take four elective courses from elective areas viz:
- Finance
- Marketing
- Human Resources
- Operations, or Systems.
TNOU offers one or two years diploma. Candidates must pass Class 10 to apply for diploma. The university selects candidates for this course based on the aspirant's qualifying exam scores.
Admissions are conducted twice between January and June. Admission to the courses is primarily merit-based. Moreover, the admission process is completely online. TNOU provides multiple courses in Open & Distance Learning Mode. These courses allows people to access education widely and remotely. ODL courses can be pursued in either online or offline mode. BSc Botany is a three-year course of Tamil Nadu Open University spread across semesters. Below are some of the subjects that are a part of the curriculum:

Tamil Nadu Open University offers both B.Ed and B.Ed Spl.Ed. for two-year each. Below is the minimum academic qualification required to apply for any of the programmes:
- Aspirants must pass bachelor's or master's degree in relevant subjects with at least 50% aggregate to apply for TNOU B.Ed and B.Ed Spl.Ed. programme.
- Candidates with bachelor's in Engineering or Technology with specialisation in Science and Mathematics with a minimum of 55% aggregate can also apply.
- There is relaxation in the aggregate for reserved category candidates. Aspirants belonging to BC/ BCM need 45% aggregate, 43% for MBC/ DNC and 40% for SC/ SCA/ ST in graduation.
Tamil Nadu Open University offers a three-year BCom programme in different specialisations. These specialisations include:

Candidates must pass Class 12 along with a bachelor's degree from any recognised university to apply for TNOU MBA programme. The total strength for seats for B.Ed admission is 1,000.
