Candidates seeking admission to BA Economics at Gandhigram University are required to meet the minimum eligibility criteria. Candidates who have passed the Class 12 in the regular stream can get admission to the BA programme. Preference will be given to students who have studied Economics in Class 12.

Gandhigram University BA admission is entrance-based for the academic year 2024 as candidates seeking admission to the BA at Gandhigram University are required to appear for the CUET. Therefore, Class 12 marks are not enough for admission to the BA programme.

The placement percentage in The Gandhigram Rural Institute is very moderate, and only 50% to 60% of the students got placement every year. The last batch had 70 students and out of which 40 got placed in the chemical companies. They provide a minimum salary of Rs.15,000 for everyone who got placed.
