The total seat intake for the BA and Integrated BA plus MA programmes offered at Gandhigram University is 120. Admission will be made subject to the reservation policy of the Government of India/ UGC Norms. The Gandhigram Rural Institute BA seat reservation policy is mentioned below:

The Gandhigram Rural Institute provides an opportunity for the BA programme students to apply for various scholarships. The eligible SC, ST, OBC and, PwD category students can avail the Central Sector Scholarship (postmatric) through the respective State Government. Gandhigram Rural Institute BA scholarships also include remittance of tuition fees. Gandhigram University BA admission is entrance-based for the academic year 2024 as candidates seeking admission to the BA at Gandhigram University are required to appear for the CUET. Therefore, Class 12 marks are not enough for admission to the BA programme.
