Tripura University has various three-star, and five-star hotels and homestays. Parents accompanying their children can easily stay in these hotels or they can also go for other cheaper options available in the city. Candidates having a valid score in MAT/ XAT / CAT/ CMAT will get direct admission in MBA at Tripura University. Universities may also release a merit list based on marks obtained in graduation.

It is a Central University that was established in October 1987. It is located at Agartala with 78 acres of campus. It is approved by UGC and has got accreditation from NAAC. It has achieved 88th rank in NIRF rankings and 4th rank in Eastern India in 2016. The University has 46 departments offering 58 programs to students from India and Bangladesh. 

Aspirants must take the CUET exam in order to get admitted to Tripura University's undergraduate programs. When registering for CUET online, give preference to Tripura University. Attend the test and try to get a good grade. Check the minimum scores required for programme at Tripura University after the CUET results are out. After this, students need to attend the counseling session if shortlisted.

The CUET PG 2026 admit card is expected to be released in the fourth week of February. Only the registered candidates will be issued the admit card. 

Tripura University has various clubs such as The Environment Club of Tripura University, Quiz Club, and others. The NSS TU unit organised a training programme on the “Motivation of Youth for Inspiring Rural Reconstruction.'' There are various programmes organised by the university for students. There is a fresher's party, awards ceremonies arranged by the university.
