Good academics, coding culture, and placement opportunities at COEP.
Placements: The previous CSE batch achieved around 92% placements. The highest package is around 52 LPA, and the average package is 17 LPA. Major recruiters include Accenture, D. E. Shaw, Wells Fargo, Citi, Mastercard, Bosch, etc. University also receives 365+ internship offers. This is a rough figure as I'm not completely sure about it. But the majority of my seniors secure internships and full-time roles.
Infrastructure: The CSE department has good computer labs, Wi-Fi, smart classrooms, and a library with books specifically related to academics. Hostel facilities are decent. The mess food is okay, and there are canteens too. Medical facilities are available on campus. There are good grounds and courts for sports and other activities.
Faculty: Most teachers are helpful, qualified, and knowledgeable. They explain concepts well enough. I won't say they are at the IIT level, not to compare, but they are decent enough. The curriculum till now is not department-specific, as it involves many other engineering subjects unrelated to CSE. However, from the 3rd year onward, the subjects become highly relevant and depth-specific. I'd rate the difficulty of the college exams around 6 to 7 out of 10. I'm not sure about the passing percentage. The college does not officially mention it. But I think you should secure at least 40 marks out of 100 to pass.
Other: I've been interested in computers ever since I was a child, but honestly, the main reason is the good placement rate of COEP. During internships and placements, the majority of companies' eligibility criteria involve CSE students, so that's one advantage we have. Besides placements, I wish the learning experience were better. It's not that it's bad, but I don't feel as curious during lectures as I do when I'm learning something on my own through YouTube. Events, fests, campus life, networking, and extracurricular activities are the areas in which our college is considered to be number one.

I am satisfied with my college.
Placements: The placement rate is minimal in the college. The highest package offered in my college is about 5 LPA. They are collaborative with Tata, Cipla like that are collaborative with my college. Quality assurance and quality control are the roles offered by the college.
Infrastructure: The college has good infrastructure with good library facilities and Wi-Fi coverage throughout the college. There are digital classrooms. There are only Jain hostels provided by the college. There are medical facilities like a first aid kit. There is no canteen in the college.
Faculty: Teachers are good and it makes students quite industry-ready. Minimum 50 percent marks are required for passing the semester. Teachers are well qualified. They are good at teaching. They have good teaching quality. The semester exams are difficult.

A life-changing experience, really it is.
Placements: Placements are more in non-tech roles rather than tech roles. The main focus is on getting students placed in large numbers rather than on quality. The packages are okay, but some companies do bond-based hiring on campus, due to which placements are affected, so it is better to try off-campus.
Infrastructure: The campus is good and has great sports infrastructure, including cricket, football, and swimming pool facilities. These help make the college campus great. You would enjoy all of this even if you do not enjoy sports that often, due to the good vibe.
Other: You can enjoy, and you can enjoy if you want to. The college has good courses provided with a variety of options to choose from. All are good with quite good chances of success in each field. There won’t be any chances of failure, but you need to enjoy every course you take instead of running from it.

Enjoyable life at Wadia Campus.
Placements: Students with scores above 60% are placed. Students are also recruited by many companies. The top recruiting companies are Tech Mahindra, Infosys, and many more. Placements are also offered in banks like HDFC, ICICI, etc. Students with a grade of above 50% from the Bachelor of Commerce course also get internships.
Infrastructure: Classrooms and libraries are available for all students in the college. Students who live in the hostel also get good facilities. The food in the canteen is very hygienic and tasty. In any emergency, there is a small doctor's room for students and staff.
Faculty: Teachers are highly qualified and very helpful. The difficulty level of exams is high. The passing percentage is around 40%. The teaching quality is good and enjoyable. All college staff are very understanding and helpful to all students.
Other: Everything is good. Students also get many opportunities to participate in events with good motivation from the entire college staff.

College insights, beautiful campus, and placement information.
Placements: Only a small number of people get placed in my college. Last year around 10 to 20 percent of students got placed. The highest package depends on performance it varies from 2 LPA to 4 LPA but never exceeds 5 LPA because it is a low-tier college. Mostly students get placed off-campus.
Infrastructure: There is a 24/7 internet facility throughout the campus. The playground is decent it also has a gym facility with great sir. Library facility is also there with all the curriculum books to get there and read. For food we also have a canteen facility. The food is clean not that bad. The hostel facility is also decent.
Faculty: To be honest the teachers are like some are good and some are very bad. They bunk their own classes and tell students not to come but some teachers are very good. They are well-educated professors and they give great attention to students. The curriculum is built as per industry requirements and the students are given the required opportunity to learn and participate.
Other: The college does stuff from time to time to entertain the students and make them feel at home. The college hosts fests every year and random-day celebrations like cultural, sports day, and more. Diwali, Eid, and Navratri celebrations make the students come together and celebrate more.

Absolutely dissatisfied because of the faculty and facilities.
Placements: The placement thing is pretty bad but you have to accept the reality it's not worth it to join the placement campaign it's more like mass recruitment. I don't know how does that even works but apparently and allegedly it all works well below the belt.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure is pretty bad. The facilities are there but not the quality you would expect. Classrooms are pretty bad. Library is just for its name. I haven't been in the hostel but I have heard it's in pretty bad condition too.
Faculty: The teaching quality is pretty bad except for a few teachers who are really into teaching. Curriculum I think it's pretty relevant. The semester exams are pretty easy and simple. The difficulty is pretty low.
