Insights of Dr. B Lal Institute of Biotechnology .
Placements: Almost 80% of the students are placed on campus, while others opt for business or higher education. A minimum of 5 LPA is offered to students. Most pharmaceutical and food technology companies like Dabur are the big recruiters, as well as Lab Pathology itself.
Infrastructure: The college itself does not have accommodation services but they suggest a variety of hostels. Hostels provide good facilities. The campus has Wi-Fi services all over the college, and the canteen provides a decent amount of quality food. Labs are well-equipped and hands-on practices are being done. Classrooms have AC facilities, and the department is good too.
Faculty: Teachers are very helpful and qualified; they have a deep sense of knowledge of the subject. Each faculty member is educated and has done a Ph.D. on their own. The course curriculum is well maintained and makes students industry-ready. Semester exams are not too difficult to pass but a decent amount of study is required .
Other: The infrastructure is not fascinating nor is it too big to walk around. There are fest and events that are exciting and enjoyable.

State Government university with good education system but with slow administration.
Placements: No placement drive happened in the university hence, no one was placed. As I'm from the Microbiology field, usually we are offered roles like microbiologist and assistant professor in various industries like pharma, clinical, hospital, food & beverages, education. Some of these jobs are also available in the government sector as per the vacancy. Internships are done by our batch in pharma, hospital, laboratory, university departments, etc.
Infrastructure: Airconditioned classrooms are there having a projector and computer with Wi-Fi accessibility, well-equipped laboratories, the library is well maintained having an awesome collection of books of great authors and reputed Science journals. Hostel facilities are great providing quality of living and healthy delicious food. The swimming pool is available, the sports complex is there, stationery shops are on the campus with a banking facility with ICICI bank.
Faculty: High-quality education with highly qualified teachers having several years of experience. Teachers are very kind and helpful to guide and mentoring students. Teachers present there, have a great background of achievements and research. The curriculum is designed as per today's requirements for hands-on practice of lab work and literature also with 6months in house dissertation in the third semester.

Moderately satisfied because of faculty.
Placements: M.Sc. Microbiology is a self financial course offered at this university. Placements for industrial and institutional research are offered on the basis of JRF qualification. Most of the students from our department qualify in NET exam during their academics itself. JRF for research is offered for students. Placements are offered very rarely on the campus. No company visited here for placements. Around 30%-40% of the students are offered internships every year. I don't know about the stipends offered during internships. We don't even have any placement cell.
Infrastructure: The college provides facilities like well-furnished classrooms, well-equipped laboratories, and free Wi-Fi, etc., We have good labs with all the modern instruments. Our college also has a good library which has all the useful books and scientific journals. A health centre is available here. The college also has a sports ground to play cricket, football, hockey, and volleyball etc. We have classrooms with all the modern facilities. The quality of labs is also good. The food offered in the canteen is the best. Hostels are available for boys and girls with good facilities and nice surroundings.
Faculty: Our faculty members are very good, helpful, well qualified, brilliant and highly knowledgeable. Teaching quality is moderate. Professors use simple and easy methods for teaching. The student to faculty ratio is 40:15. M.Sc. microbiology course is very useful for further research and to qualify in NET exam.

Other: I am pass out as Graduate student from U.O.R. It has well maintained Library and Labs. All teachers are well experienced. I have got 70% marks in Graduation. Some problems we face in U.O.R like Exams timings are very late and Result declaration is very late as well. Overall it is a Good University. I would recommend student for take admission. Just One Word OUTSTANDING.
