Lucknow University 2023 Exam Pattern For UG Courses Each correct answer will consist of 4 marks and 1 mark will be deducted for each wrong answer. Type of Questions: The question paper will contain the Multiple Choice Type questions. Number of Questions: Total 100 questions will be asked in the exam. Duration of Exam: 90 minutes will be provided to complete question paper.

Candidates seeking admission to the University of Lucknow BCA course must visit the official website of the University to apply online. To be eligible for Lucknow University BCA admission, candidates must have passed Class 12 or equivalent examination with Mathematics/Computer as one of the subjects with at least 50% marks for General / OBC (45% for Scheduled Castes and Scheduled Tribes) based on the total marks of all subjects.

The CUET UG 2025 results were released on July 4, 2025. Candidates can check their CUET UG results from the official website of NTA. Moreover, the CUET UG examination was conducted from May 15 to June 4, 2025. Following the exam, a final answer key was released on July 1, 2025.

University of Lucknow accepts UPTAC BTech scores for admission to the BTech course. As per Lucknow University cutoff 2024, the closing rank for B.Tech. in Civil Engineering was 326317, while for admission to the CSE course, the closing cutoff rank stood at 129997 for the students belonging to the General Home State quota. The Lucknow University provides residential facilities to all the teachers, students, and non-teaching staff. The university houses as many as 15+ hostels for boys and girls in the university with Kailash Hall and Nivedita Hall which can house almost 500+ female students. Lucknow University offers several specialisations in BA courses, and the admission procedure for BA courses and its specialisations is similar. The basic eligibility criteria for admission to BA is candidates must have completed Class 12. Additionally, candidates have secured at least an aggregate of 40%. If aspirants qualify all these basic eligibility criteria then they have to appear for an entrance examination called UGPET. The scores secured in the UGPET entrance exam are the only criteria that the university follows to grant a seat in the BA programme at LU. However, the college does offer some seats for NRI and other students through management quota, and the seats issued by management quota are always lesser in number than regular degree seats. 

The university accepts the CUET scores and AKTU counselling for admission to the BPharm course. The application deadline for CUET and AKTU counselling processes were on April 5, 2024 and July 10, 2024, respectively. However, the Lucknow University BPharm deadline for filling out an application form with valid scores has not been released yet. Deadlines will be expected to be released in mid-August 2024. So, candidates have an opportunity to complete the application process in the meantime.
