Lucknow University Courses & Fees 2026: UG, PG, Doctorate, Certificate Courses

Lucknow University JEE Main cutoff 2025 was published for admission to the BTech courses for the Home State quota categories. The cutoff was released in the form of ranks for different BTech course branches.

Once a candidate has been offered an admission letter by a participating institute of Centralized Admission Process of Lucknow University, candidates are required to pay their admission fees as mentioned on the BBA offer letter.

This letter will contain payment mode details as well as the admission fees amount.

The University of Lucknow offers a five-year integrated B.A. LL.B. Programme. Generally, the admission to the B.A. LL.B. Programme is done through the Law Entrance Examination (LU-LLB), which is conducted by the university. The exam evaluates the candidates' aptitude and knowledge in various areas of law, such as Legal Aptitude & Reasoning English and general knowledge. However, the university may also offer a certain number of seats for direct admission to the B.A. LL.B. Programme based on the candidate's 12th board examination scores. Yes, Lucknow University does offer most of its BA courses in honors mode. Candidates who wish to pursue BA in honors mode also have the option to add research to their BA curriculum. However, BA in Yoga is not offered in honors mode.

Lucknow University BCom application window is not currently open. The university opened application window for UG courses from Mar 28 and the last date to apply was Jul 4. Aspirants shall check the university official website to check important dates.

The University offers a two-year full-time LLM programme in the field of Law. Lucknow University LLM admission is based on an entrance test. A candidate will be eligible for admission for admission to LLM course if he/she has completed the Law Graduation from a recoginsed and has secured 50% marks at graduation and for general and OBC. However, for SC/ST the eligible marks are 48%. 

Candidates fulfilling the eligibility criteria and having a valid JEE Main score can apply through Lucknow University's official website for BTech. This application has to be completed separately. Step 1: Visit the official website and click on the 'Apply now' tab. 

Step 2: Applicants will receive their login details on their Mobile Number and Email ID provided at the time of registration.

Step 3: Fill out the application form. 

Step 4: Upload your photo and scanned signature. 

Step 5: Preview all the entries made at this point. If there is some error you can edit it or start the entire process again. 

Step 6: Pay the application fee. The application fee for male candidates of the unreserved/ EWS/OBC category is INR 650 and for female candidates, it is INR 325 as per past years' data.

Step 7: Take a printout of the complete application form and fee receipt for further reference.

Lucknow University Management Entrance Test (LUMET) is a pen and paper based entrance examination. The test duration is 90 minutes. Candidates have to solve 100 MCQs within the given time period. LUMET questions are based on Quantitative Aptitude, Data Interpretation, Logical Reasoning, Verbal Ability, Comprehension and General Awareness. Each question carries 2 marks. In 2026, only one institute has been listed as offering BBA courses of University of Lucknow. This institute is Kalicharan Degree College and it is offering 525 seats for the BBA courses under University of Lucknow. Out of these, 150 seats are offered for specialisation courses while the rest are available for general BBA course.

University of Lucknow has not mentioned anything regarding admissions to candidates who are still waiting for their Class 12 board exam results. Thus, candidates will need to raise this query with admission desk for confirmation.

No refund policy for admission cancellation has been mentioned by Lucknow University for BBA students. Thus, candidates will need to ask University of Lucknow's admission desk to get more clarity.

Generally, UGC norms are followed by most institutes to offer refunds to candidates who cancel their admission.

Lucknow University BBA admissions have been scheduled to close on May 31st in academic year 2026. This is also the last date to register for UGPET which is a mandatory entrance exam for Lucknow University BBA admissions.

The Consortium of Medical, Engineering, and Dental Colleges of Karnataka will release the COMEDK UGET result 2025 online. Applicants appearing in the COMED UGET 2025 exam are advised to keep checking the official website for result updates. The official website to check COMEDK result is comedk.org. Applicants will be required to have their user ID and password to check COMEDK result 2025. The results is available in the login window only. Applicants will not allow candidates to check COMEDK UGET result 2025 by any other means.

There is no mention of Lucknow University accepting admissions through any other entrance exams from candidates outside UP. UP Lucknow University only accepts admissions through its own conducted UGPET for all BBA courses. Thus, candidates from outside UP may still need to appear for UGPET even if they have a valid score of MHT-CET, GUJCET or similar exams.
