Lucknow University admissions are done on entrance-basis. The basic eligibility requires the candidates to pass Class 12 or its equivalent exam with a minimum aggregate of 45%. A minimum 40% of marks and (33%for SC&ST) shall be obtained in the entrance exam in order to get admission in LU. There is no special specification for girl students, all of them are required to get atleast 33% if belonging to SC, ST.
