The Common University Entrance Test (CUET), earlier known as Central Universities Common Entrance Test (CUCET) is an all-India test being organized by National Testing Agency for admission to various doctorate, Postgraduate, Undergraduate, Integrated Postgraduate, Diploma, Certification courses and Research Programmes in 45 Central Universities of India. It is also accepted by number of other State Universities and Deemed universities in India.

Firstly, the candidates must select a programme suitable to their needs and interests. Then they have to download and fill up the adplication form which is available on the official website of the college. After that candidates have to appear for the entrance test.  If they are applying for an undergraduate programme they have to appear for  CUET and for post graduate programme they have to give CUET-PG. The university grants admission on merit basis. 

Yes, Usha Martin University has BBA LLB and 5 years of integrated programmes. For that, any candidate who has completed class 12 from CBSE or equivalent examination is eligible to pursue this course. Merit-Based

• 100% for all male students enrolled in any programme and scoring above 95% marks in their qualifying examination.
• 50% of all male students enrolled in any programme and scored marks in the range of 90%-95% in their qualifying examination.
• All-female students enrolled in any programme and having more than 90% marks in their qualifying exams will be eligible for a 50% scholarship. However, if a female student has marks between 80% and 90%, she will receive a 20% scholarship.

Domicile Based

• 10% for students having domicile of Jharkhand and enrolled in any programme. However, those who get merit scholarships are not eligible for domicile-based scholarships.

Admission to the Diploma, BTech, and PhD programmes would be through an Entrance Test. Candidates have to clear the Entrance Test and then on a merit basis, the University grants the admission. Admission to the MBA programmes will be through a personal interview.  Candidates have to clear the interview round to take part in the respective programme. The entry for the remaining programmes will be based on merit basis.
