Established in 2017, Sarala Birla University (SBU) is a self-financed private unitary university, located in Ranchi, Jharkhand. The university was established by Bharat Arogya and Gyan Mandir through the Sarla Birla University Act, that was passed by the Jharkhand Legislative Assembly. The University is recognised by the Government of Jharkhand and is approved by UGC. Through its schools and colleges, Sarala Birla University offers 25 top courses at UG, PG, and research levels in Engineering & Computer Sciences, Humanities & Linguistics, Commerce & Business Management, Legal Studies, Pharmacy, and Yoga & Naturopathy. Sarala Birla University admission to these courses is either merit-based or entrance-based. • In-campus/ Onine Placement Drive: Company Conducts Pre-Placement Talk. Company organises selection process, it may consists of- Skill / Aptitude / Psychomatric Assestment, etc. Final list of the selected students is announced
• Job Offer and its Acceptance: Post-Placement Discussion on Job Profile and Company's Policy,  Selected students receive Offer Letters

Sarala Birla University BTech in Computer Science & Engineering (CSE) is structured by the UGC guidelines. It is a full-time undergraduate programme lasting four years. The course duration is further divided into eight semesters. The curriculum is based on a Choice Based Credit System (CBCS). In each semester, students have to study core and elective subjects that carry certain credit points. At the end of each semester, students have to appear for semester-wise exams. Some subjects included in the curriculum are Electronic Devices, Digital Electronics, Engineering Mechanics, Operating Systems, etc.

Sarala Birla University is currently accepting applications for admission to its MBA programme. Apsirants seeking admission to the academic year 2025-26 can visit the university's official website to apply/enquire about the programme.
