Yes, seats are reserved by Vijayanagara Sri Krishnadevaraya University for OBC, EWS, Sports quota, SC/ST etc. as per government of Karnataka guidelines. First all candidates irrespective of their individual categories are considered for allotment of seats under general merit as per the options given by them. Hereafter, when the general merit seats are exhausted, candidates belonging to the respective categories will be allotted seats as per their merit and options chosen by them.

Amenities such as sports, medical, hostels, gyms, canteens, and cafeterias are also available. The campus of this college is large. Classes with full air conditioning are available. All courses have access to labs. Nearly all competitive and academic are available in the university library. The highest package that was offered to the students of this university was INR 6.6 LPA while the average was INR 3.4 LPA. To apply for undergraduate courses, a candidate must complete their 10+2 from a recognised board with at least 50% of the possible marks (45% for the ST/SC candidates). There is no entrance for these courses, and the applicants are selected based on their merit at 10+2. The candidate's final selection would be based on the marks they receive in the qualifying examination. 

Candidates are chosen for postgraduate programs, except the MBA program, based on their qualifying exam scores as determined by counseling. Candidates must register for counseling and visit the chairperson of the department they intend to apply to. Upon registering, candidates will receive a slip that they must present for counseling. 

PGCET-MBA is a state-level admission exam administered by the state of Karnataka  to select applicants for MBA programs besides CAT/MAT/XAT/CMAT, etc. 

Courses in a variety of subjects are available at VSKDB, including science, arts, engineering, management, business, and much more. every year, the application procedure for UG and PG courses opens in June and July. 

Admission to postgraduate courses will only be available online. the individual will submit a single application for each course they choose to apply. However, there are application processing costs for each course that must be paid. For general candidates, the application processing cost is INR 600 per course while it is INR 300 for ST/SC. Applicants should visit the VSKDB official website to submit an online application. Through counseling, candidates are mostly chosen for UG and PG programs based on their merits. 

Yes, the candidate who has a PUC score is eligible to be admitted to Vijayanagara Sri Krishnadevaraya University. The brochure of the university says that " the candidate who has passed PUC from PU board of Karnataka state and 10+2 examination of ICSE/CBSE board from any school of Karnataka state need not produce eligibility certificate. however, the candidates have to obtain an eligibility certificate from the university if he/she has passed 10+2 or equivalent examinations from other states including ICSE/CBSE. The candidates who have passed from ITI from any of the institutes of Karnataka state also have to obtain eligibility certificate from the university to get admission".

Candidates must have graduated from an accredited university in the relevant stream with a minimum cumulative GPA of 50% to be considered for admission to postgraduate studies. A round of counseling is also available for postgraduate courses. However, for reserved categories (ST/SC/PWD) there is a relaxation of 5% in the cumulative grade. Online applications for PG admission at Vijayanagara Sri Krishnadevaraya University commence around mid-September every year. The online application process lasts for a month till mid-October. Application process takes place online through UUCMS.
