VIT Engineering Entrance Examination (VITEEE) is mandatory for admission to the B.Tech. Programme in Vellore Institute of Technology-AP (VIT-AP). Yes, VIT Andhra Pradesh University does offer BSc as an dual degree programme with MSc. The dual degree programme lasts for five years and is offered in a full-time mode. The UG+PG level course is spreas across ten semesters that combines core subjects with a major. The BSc-MSc dual degree comes with an exit option which allows students to earn different degrees provided they fulfill the credit requirements. After three years of successful completion of this programme, BSc in degree in Data Science will be awarded and MSc degree in Data Science will be awarded after successful completion of another 2 years.

According to  the latest report, more than 632 recruiters visited the VIT AP campus in 2025 and placed 10025 students of the batch 2025.
