Candidates with the below mentioned qualification are eligible for the BCom course at VIT Andhra Pradesh Amaravati:

• Class 12 board examination from a recognised board of education, such as CBSE, ICSE, State Education Boards or equivalent boards. 
• Candidates must have studies Mathematics subjects along with Economic and Commerce (MEC) or Business Studies in the qualifying exam with at least 55% aggregate. 

VIT Engineering Entrance Examination (VITEEE) is mandatory for admission to the B.Tech. Programme in Vellore Institute of Technology-AP (VIT-AP). Higher Secondary Board, JEE Main, or SAT scores will not be considered for admission to the B.Tech. Degree Programme. However, for some other courses, there is no entrance examination, and candidates are selected based on their academic performance.

Candidates who has a valid score in the last qualifying exam are eligible for the BA course at VIT AP. The eligibility and selection criteria for VIT Andhra Pradesh BA admission in 2024 are provided below:

Selection Criteria: Merit + Counselling

To be eligible for admission to the B.Tech programme at Vellore Institute of Technology (VIT), candidates must have passed their 10+2 level examination with Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics as main subjects. They must also have scored a minimum of 60% marks in their 10+2 level board examination from any recognised board of education. 

Candidates with a rank below one Lacs will be asked to attend VITEEE counseling. However, this doesn't guarantee admission because it's an elimination process. 

VIT-AP University accepts the in-house entrance exam VITEEE-Vellore Institute of Technology Engineering Entrance Examination for admission to BTech programme. VITEEE exam syllubus is designed to test the aptitude of candidates in subjects like Mathematics/Biology, Physics, and Chemistry.

Aspirants must pass Class 12 with a minimum of 55% aggregate (45% aggregate for candidates belonging to SC/ ST caegory and Jammu and Kashmir / Ladakh & North-eastern states) to apply for BBA programme at VIT-AP University.

VIT Andhra Pradesh offers BTech course to students at the UG level. It is offered for 4 years in several specialisations. To be eligible for BTech at VIT-AP, candidates must fulfil the eligibility criteria set by the college. Further, candidates seeking admission to the BTech programme must be Class 12 from a recognised board.

VIT Andhra Pradesh selects candidates for admission to BCom programme based on their merit. A merit list is prepared based on Class 12 scores of the aspirants. Selected candidates are called for counselling and seat allotment.

No entrance exam is required for the MSc course at VIT-AP University. Candidates are shortlisted based on the SOP and the online personla interview conducted by the university. Furher, candidates must have BSc degree in Chemistry, Applied Chemistry, or Applied Science from any recognised university with Physics, Mathematics, Botany, or Zoology as ancillary subjects with 60% aggregate.

As per the VIT Andhra Pradesh University admission guidelines, entrance exam is not required to get admitted to the BA-MA course. Admission to VIT Andhra Pradesh University is determined by candidates' performance in their last qualifying exam. There are no entrance exams for the BA-MA course. The Vellore Institute of Technology mentions the VITMEE eligibility criteria in the information brochure. The VITMEE eligibility is different for each course/discipline. Candidates willing to apply for the VITMEE exam 2026 must go through the criteria carefully. However, apart from the educational qualifications, here are some other eligibility that applicant must satisfy before filling the form.

• Must have an Indian nationality and must have graduated from institutions located in India with a minimum qualifying percentage of 60%.
• Foreign or NRI/POI candidates must apply separately. 
• Final year students can also apply for the exam. 
• Must have acquired a minimum of 60% in their class 12th and diploma exams. 

Yes, candidates can get Bachelor's of Technology under the VIT-AP University in a full-time regular mode lasting for four years. The CSE course curriculum allows students to choose a specialisation or Minor after the completion of their first year in the University. 

VIT-AP University accepts the VITMEE, which is conducted by the Vellore Institute of Technology annually for admission to M.Tech in various disciplines. The applicants are selected based on exam performance, followed by online VITMEE counselling. The application process for VITMEE registration comprises registration, filling out forms, uploading documents, and fee payment. The VITMEE exam is conducted in an online computer-based mode for two hours.
