It is an underrated university to consider.
Placements: The placements are pretty high. The highest package is about 90 LPA. Companies from around the world visit the campus. Centralized placement with VIT Vellore, Chennai and Bhopal offers so many more opportunities. The placement cell is very active and provides placement training and assistance.
Infrastructure: The hostel mess is actually good. Meals are very balanced and safe. There are night canteens and food courts with quality checks. Academic blocks are pleasing. Especially the central the biggest academic block in Asian. Labs and classrooms are good, except that only a number of classrooms are air-conditioned. Wi-Fi is available in hostel as well as academic blocks.
Faculty: Faculty members are good in their field. Excellent guidance in research and projects. The curriculum is up to date and relevant since AI and ML were also introduced. Semester exams are difficult and any unfair practice is deal with very strictly.
Other: I chose this campus out of personal interest and placements. One thing that could be genuinely improved is ACs in every classroom since the location is very hot. The annual event is excellent, and there's a club for anything you could think of, anything literally. They're active so great events by them as well.

About VIT AP University where things took change and the college is getting better day by day.
Placements: Placements are available but it depends on your skills. This year they got nearly 3,000 offers but claimed they are around 1,800 to 2,000. The rest which are left are offered 10 LPA packages and are unclaimed. The highest package is 92.26 LPA and the average is 12 LPA.
Infrastructure: Everything is really good as you can expect from VIT in managing the crowd. We got good spacious hostels which depend on hostel buildings newer ones are more spacious. Wi-Fi is available 24/7. There is a 24/7 water supply. The labs are also well-equipped with modern tech and the library is abit small if we compare to the number of students it can accommodate up to 200 students or fewer. There is a separate library for law students and the mess food is fine. We have pretty shops in hostels and outside too. We have street food to order.
Faculty: Course contents are regularly updated and taught by qualified faculty. For ECE many instructors are IIT alumni. The overall pass rate is 40 percent. Assessment includes two midterms (CAT1, CAT2) of 50 marks each. There is no separate pass criteria and they contribute 30 percent (15 percent each) to the final grade. Two quizzes and one assignment (10 marks each) are conducted together make up the remaining 30 percent. The final assessment (FAT) is 100 marks with a passing score of 40 and counts for 40 percent of the overall grade. Lab exams are separate (100 marks) with a pass mark of 40 and include lab records.
Other: We always have events running every day and the value for money depends on what category you get a seat in. Everything else is fine. The railway station is 18km from the campus. They provide bus service on weekends and holidays to the railway station of Vijayawada. The course runs smoothly but sometimes due to FFCS slots booking classes will be scattered so that may be an issue.

Satisfied with good placements, infrastructure, a good reputation, and events organised.
Placements: Mostly, up to 90 percent of students will get placed every year. The highest package is 96.69 LPA, and the lowest is 4 LPA. I am not aware of companies. Many of our seniors said that their internship exams are also conducted in their 3rd year. Many of the companies chose to select CSE and AI/ML course students.
Infrastructure: The college has good infrastructure. Especially certain classrooms have central AC's. Wi-Fi facility is also available. We have a very big library with various books. There is also a small clinic for primary health care. If anything serious happens, an ambulance will always be there to take the students to the nearest hospital. Hostel food is good with various items.
Faculty: Lecturers in our college are qualified. Even certain PhD scholars will also take classes. Teaching quality is good. Semester exams are moderately difficult. The pass percentage is mostly above 85 percent for our batch. The curriculum is relevant and helps students learn a lot of skills.

Decent college with good infrastructure and average placements.
Placements: I'm a student from 2022 batch and pursuing B.Tech with the specialisation of CSE. Nearly 85 percent of the students are placed in our college. The highest package is 96 LPA, and the lowest package is 3 LPA. Top recruiting companies are Deloitte, Honeywell, and MUFG. 60 percent of the students got internships at Microsoft, ADP, and Amazon. We are offered SDE-1, SDE-2, and GET roles.
Infrastructure: Coming to our university infrastructure it is very good. In classes, we can use the university Wi-Fi, every student is provided with their credentials so they use them to connect to Wi-Fi. In classrooms we have a projector for lectures. We have a big library where the capacity is around 800. The hostel facilities are also very good except food. Food quality is very low. We are available with a canteen where the food is good and it is edible. We also have a hospital on our campus. Coming to sports and games, we have 10-15 different courts.
Faculty: In our university teachers are very helpful, some of them are actually graduates from IITs and NITs. They are knowledgeable. They are available for doubts at any time. When we talk about course curriculum, it is somewhat relevant but in my opinion it is not enough to get industry-ready. We need to put in extra efforts on our side. Difficulty of semester exams are moderate to tough. The pass percentage is 40 percent of the total marks.
Other: I'm a student from 2022-26 batch. And I'm from B.Tech with specialisation in CSE. I'm really interested in learning new technologies in an evolving world so I took CSE that could help me in achieving my goals. I'm really grateful for the decision I took at that time as I could have exposed myself to tech industries. I think if there is any possibility it would be better to increase hands-on practice sessions in our course so that it would be easy for a student. Coming to events and fests every weekend we have either events, flashmobs, or rallies.

It has good campus life with average placements.
Placements: Around 70% of students were placed last year. Our highest package is around 90 LPA, and the average package is around 5 LPA to 8 LPA. Top companies like TCS, Wipro, Cognizant, and Google will come. Around 25% of students got internships in our college this year.
Infrastructure: We have one of the best infrastructures in Andhra Pradesh. Every week we have one lab for each subject. The Wi-Fi doesn't work properly. The library is very good. We have many books there. In our hostel, they also provide good food, healthy for health, with non-veg served four times a week.
Faculty: Most of the faculty are unhelpful to students. They don't bother about you. They just lecture and go. Some faculty will teach well and prepare students for the industry. Our semester exams are moderate to difficult level exams. Out of 100 marks, to pass is 40 marks.

It has an excellent campus with good placements.
Placements: VITAP has a good placement record, and a good number of students get placed. Top companies like TCS, Wipro, and LinkedIn get placed with good packages. Recently, VITAP placed students at LinkedIn with a package of 96 LPA. It provides good placements. Students will get internships in their 3rd and 4th years.
Infrastructure: VITAP has good infrastructure with smart classrooms, well-equipped computers, high-speed Wi-Fi, and a well-stocked library. It has a comfortable mess and a good gym. Labs are very nice with AC. VITAP has a good playground. It also supports sports. The canteen is good.
Faculty: Teachers are highly qualified and helpful to students. The course curriculum is industry-relevant. Exams are moderate. We will feel comfortable with the curriculum. VITAP students will get ready for a job with practical experience, good knowledge, and good skills.
Other: I chose the Integrated M.Tech. in Software Engineering course because it has good placement support. It has a modern campus, so I chose this college.
