Vit Bhopal students are mostly selected by mass recruiters but this year many mass recruiters are not visiting campuses so placement states are low in this year's batch.

The campus life is improving, and conditions are getting better every year.
Placements: 90% of students are placed with an average package of 7 LPA. The highest package is 53 LPA till now, offered by Zomato. The lowest package is around 5 LPA, possibly from Cognizant. Internships are to be done on their own. The placement cell is good, but strict at the same time. They are very particular about timings and close the gate 5 minutes before the official closing time.
Infrastructure: The mess food is of poor quality. The drinking water is also not good. However, facilities are improving with the introduction of night canteens and kettle points. Medical facilities are good. Sports facilities are average. Wi-Fi is okay, but the network in hostels is poor.
Faculty: Mostly, grades are based on the teacher's choice. Slots of the subject due to relative grading. To get good grades, select a class with fewer toppers. Then you will get better grades. Mostly toppers take morning slots, so avoid them and take evening slots.
Other: Advitya is a good event.

It is good, but it can be better.
Placements: Almost 70 to 80 percent of students get placed (some of them opt to withdraw from placements after 2 months). The highest package is 75 LPA, and the lowest is 3 LPA, with an average of 4.5 LPA. The top recruiting companies are TCS, ZS, etc. Not many students get internships. Only a few do.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of the course is decent but could be much better, although it has improved now. The hostel facilities used to be poor, but are now okay. The food in some messes needs improvement, as most of the time it is not served hot enough.
Faculty: The teaching staff is good but lacks practical experience. However, most of them are qualified to teach. The curriculum is good, but it needs to be more practical. Semester exams are quite difficult but not extreme. The pass percentage depends on the subject.

Review of the infrastructure and facilities.
Placements: Placements are only decent if you have a good CGPA. Most people end up choosing off-campus placements. They provide higher packages. Staying consistent is the only way to crack a good offer on campus. A lot of students opt for lower packages with companies such as TCS.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of the academic blocks are good individually, but both academic blocks are extremely far from each other. It makes it inconvenient for students to walk back and forth between classes, as we are only given a 5-minute break. Libraries and classrooms do not have ACs, making it very difficult to sit in them during the summer. Hostels are decent, but water has been a persistent issue despite the high fees.
Faculty: Teachers are all qualified, but it is very rare to always end up with good faculty members, as internals and marks lie in their hands. You get to choose your teachers every semester, so nothing is really standardized. The curriculum is moderately hard, but the semesters are not long enough for us to completely learn the syllabus. We sometimes have to finish one semester within a month.
Other: Fests are the best time of the year. They are up to the mark. Events keep taking place throughout the year to keep students engaged.

Absolutely dissatisfied with everything. It has worst management.
Placements: There are 150 students. Actually, nobody gets to know about the actual details, but the average package is 3 to 4 LPA. Few people get internships, and the college does not tell you a single thing. This college is banned from MNCs. The placement cell is careless and unresponsive.
Infrastructure: Wi-Fi has no security or privacy. They can track your data. There are no labs for our course. Most of the books are not there. Like in Semester 1, I go to the library to borrow books that are in the curriculum. Guess what, even the suggested books are not available. The library is open only till 6 PM. Classrooms do not have AC, but the campus feels like a hotel. Now, coming to the hostel, these are the worst. Water quality is poor, and food quality is too. People get sick every time. They do not even have a hospital. There is just a clinic with a doctor who has zero experience.
Faculty: They do not teach anything. They just come, read the PPT, and then go. Passing exams depends on the teacher. Some teachers give good marks, while others are like this. They do not even want you to pass, even in subjects like English, while other faculty members give a lot of marks.
Other: There is nothing best about this course. Just do not join this college unless you have a lot of money to waste.

If you are thinking of coming to this college, think twice. The food and water are all waste.
Placements: I am from the B.Tech 2025 batch. Placement at VIT has not been very good in recent years. Companies offer fewer opportunities and select fewer students from the college. Even when students get opportunities, they are placed at low packages. Mainly, core and AI/ML students get selected. The average package is mostly around 5–6 LPA.
Infrastructure: The college infrastructure is good, but the mess food quality is not good. Many of my friends have fallen sick after eating food and drinking hostel water. Facilities are good overall, but some students use them just for time pass. Medical facilities are good, but for all the boys’ hostels, there are only a few doctors available.
Faculty: Some teachers in the college are good and helpful in their subjects. Students have to choose a faculty carefully. Exam papers are good, and most questions come from or follow past papers. Scoring CGPA is easy in this college, but for placements, a CGPA above 9 is required.

Overall, the college is not that bad. You can get good packages if you work hard enough.
Placements: Students from our batch receive the highest number of placements in the college. There are mass recruiters like TCS offering packages of 5–7 LPA. Big companies like Amazon and Wipro also visit the college for recruitment. Many students clear the selection process and receive good salary packages.
Infrastructure: The food quality is below average. The hostel rules are quite strict. Kettles and irons are not allowed in the hostel. Medical facilities are decent, as the college is affiliated with a hospital in Bhopal. Sports and games facilities are good. Clubs and playgrounds are also available.
Faculty: Teachers are knowledgeable, but their helpfulness depends on the individual professor. The curriculum is relevant and prepares students for the industry to a certain extent. End-of-semester exams are difficult. The pass percentage in some subjects is relatively low.
Other: I chose it because engineering offers good earning opportunities. The best thing about this course is It provides placement opportunities.
