VIT is the worst college.
Placements: Out of approximately 3500 students in our batch, only 300-400 students got placed. The other students are still searching for jobs. The college is not helping them at all, and all students are searching for jobs. In fact, they are asking us to withdraw from placements so that there will be fewer students and they can at least get a good percentage of placements to show for everyone.
Infrastructure: It has the worst facilities. Wi-Fi stops working at exam time. There is a shortage of water in the summer. There is no fire extinguisher. We get very bad food quality. In fact, we will find dead insects in the food. If we say anything, then they will complain to the hostel management, and then the hostel management will get us out of the hostel.
Faculty: Our college has the worst faculty members. First, they don't teach and then fail students by 1 marks. Students are literally facing problems because they are getting debarred at 74 percent attendance when the criteria for the paper is 75. For medical reasons, they are also doing this, as for 1 marks, our class teachers are not allowing students to give their paper so that the college can earn more from the re-registration fee of Rs. 6,000 per subject.
Other: Campus life is good because of friends and events that take place here. I suggest students not take admission here and try to get admission at other places.

Short Review on VIT Bhopal
Placements: Placements are good, with most students being placed on campus itself. The average package for students is 7.5 lakhs and the highest package was 52 lakhs, while the lowest salary was 3 lakhs. Companies like BlackRock, Google and Microsoft also come for placements to hire candidates.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure is good and new buildings are being constructed. For hostel accommodation, you need to go through counseling based on your VITEEE rank. Medical facilities are available inside the hostel and in case of severe issues, a nearby hospital is accessible. The food in Block 1 is good and other blocks are neat and clean.
Faculty: Each semester consists of two exams: mid-term and end-term. Internal marks are based on attendance, tutorials, and quizzes. The faculty is good with most being PhD holders. Many teachers teach effectively, making it easy to grasp concepts.

Good academics, decent-good placements, and campus under development.
Placements: Our batch (2026 pass-out batch) is the first big gaming batch so I cannot comment on gaming-specific placements. However, two students from our previous batch who are in the gaming field got super-dream offers (10 LPA+). Overall placements are decent, with around 80–90% placement records for previous batches. The average package is around 8 LPA for CSE students, with 50+ LPA being the highest package.
Infrastructure: The campus is still under construction, so don't expect 5-star facilities. However, the basic requirements are all satisfied and you will not face any problems. 8 hostels are finished (6 boys hostels and 2 girls hostels), with more under construction. Hostels have washrooms and water coolers on every floor. AC rooms have working air conditioning and laundry services are provided from outside. Games facilities include a basketball court, badminton nets, table tennis, cricket nets and a field for football. Gyms and salons are also present.
Faculty: Most of the teachers are highly qualified and helpful as well. The curriculum is relevant and updated regularly. There are quality control meetings every semester between students and the program chair to address issues and maintain the standard of teaching. Exams are not too difficult if you study regularly. Written exams are worth 60% of your grade, while 40% is based on internal marking (assignments, class activities and attendance).
Other: There are a plethora of clubs and activities. There are at least 3–4 events every week of various types. Both technical and non-technical events are held by clubs and participation is open to all.

Very good placements with a decent college life.
Placements: Placements are quite decent, with a lot of job offers. More than 90% of students are placed with great packages. The highest package offered in the 2023 batch is INR 1 crore per annum, and the average package varies around INR 8–9 lakh per annum. Top recruiting companies are Microsoft, DE Shaw, Walmart, JP Morgan Chase, Visa, etc.
Infrastructure: The university has modern infrastructure and beautiful classrooms. Wi-Fi is fast enough, but there are connection problems sometimes. Labs have all the required equipment. The library isn't very big but has a great collection of books. The new hostels are better, and the mess food is above average in terms of taste and quality. 24/7 medical facilities are available. Sports facilities are average. There is just one canteen to eat in; hence, there is a lack of variety and a large crowd in the canteen.
Faculty: Teachers are great. They focus on practical learning. Every faculty member holds a Ph.D. degree. They are easy to approach and are very helpful by nature. The course curriculum is updated with a lot of emphasis on soft skills that make the students industry-ready. Exams have a decent level of difficulty, but most of the students pass.
Other: I was very fascinated by games and wanted to understand how they were made. I was delighted to see great computers in the college to help us build complex, high-graphic games without hardware or software shortages. The quality of events is improving rapidly, and the college promotes extracurricular activities. We have a beautiful campus, but there is a lot of construction going on. We do have a lot of restrictions that other colleges don't, so college life is average here.

Our campus life is not good.
Placements: Placements are good. The average salary package offered was 42 LPA. The highest salary package offered was 59 LPA. Amazon, Microsoft, and JP Morgan are the top recruiting companies.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure is very good. Wi-Fi is available in the hostel and academic block. Hostel rooms are good. There are three blocks for boys. All blocks are good but the food quality is different in different blocks. The food quality is cheap in this college.
Faculty: Faculty members are good. Few of them are Ph.D. scholars. Their teaching quality is also good. Semester exams are average. Students have to focus on CGPA in the first year. The pass percentage is 40%.
Other: If you chose computer science course then it does not matter which specialization you have opted for.

I believe the CSE seats are not filled for VIT Bhopal untill 1 lakh rank. You can very easily get CSE in VIT Bhopal. But be aware that the placement opportunities will be very slim as all of the major recruiters come to the main campus that is the Vellore campus, where the CSE is finished before 5k
