Honest review by a fresher.
Placements: VIT says more than 80 percent of students get placed. This year VIT's highest package is 70 LPA. The average is 8 LPA to 9 LPA which is good I would say, for a private engineering college. Top recruiters are here, like Microsoft, Amazon, etc. Students get internships but they have to search for them by themselves.
Infrastructure: The campus has a pretty good infrastructure but classes have only fans not AC. Wi-Fi is decent. Library is pretty good and there are two canteens, Mayuri and Safal. Both right now have, I think, good food. There is a medical dispensary and health experts inside the campus.
Faculty: Teachers are good. You can choose your teachers on your own as there is FFCS. The curriculum is like other engineering colleges, nothing different. There are 3 exams in a semester CAT1, CAT2, and end sem. The institute uses Google Classroom for better learning and online classes.

Best private colleges for average students if they get category 1.
Placements: Placements vary according to which branch you prefer. The maximum package offered is 70 LPA for CSE core students (six times in a row). The average package is 7 LPA-8 LPA. Students are allowed to sit in placement only if they do not get any N, A, or F grade in any exam and did not give any make-up exam.
Infrastructure: Excellent hostels and academic facilities. Rooms are well maintained and furniture is of good quality. Mess food is good and taste varies according to the type of mess you choose and which mess you are allotted. There is a free gym facility in the hostel and vending machines for hostellers.
Faculty: There are top professors according to future jobs and skills, mental growth, etc. The curriculum is excellent and helps students learn and develop skills according to market needs and prepares students for the long run in the market. Faculty is well-experienced, educated, and cooperative with students. Minimum 75 percent attendance is compulsory.
Other: It is value for money only if you get category 1.

Overall, VIT Bhopal is a good and decent college. There is one issue with the management only.
Placements: Placements are good if and only if you have a good CGPA and above 75-80% in class 10th and 12th. Then only you will be able to sit for placements and coding rounds. Otherwise, it is a waste. You should learn DSA and have good academics. Students are eligible for placements. 80% get jobs.
Infrastructure: In terms of infrastructure, the college campus is really good. We have two main buildings for academic classes, one Architecture block, one lab complex, and a separate area for sports known as MPH. Food in canteens and other cafes is also very good. Proper medical facilities are also available. Wi-Fi is available all over the campus, and the library is also open till 8 pm.
Faculty: Teachers and faculty members are a mix of experienced and new ones as well. They have good knowledge, but some are good at teaching only, while others just come and read the PPTs. However, our curriculum is top-rated and new, and exams are also taken properly. Exams are not really tough. The passing criteria are that you need to get at least 40%. But for sitting in exams, at least 75% attendance is mandatory.
Other: I chose this course as I was interested in data science, and my fees are also about 1 LPA only. Overall, my course is good, and I get to learn a lot of things in this. We have many events going on every time. Main fests where singers like Sunidhi Chauhan, Armaan Malik, and many more bands and stand-up comics come.

Review of VIT Bhopal University.
Placements: University does not publish the overall placement percentage or disclose how many students are placed. It mainly advertises only the highest package. However, as I am in the hostel, I have heard that top companies like Microsoft visit for Computer Science. If you work hard, you can secure a 10–12 LPA fresher package.
Infrastructure: The boys’ hostels are of two types. Block 1 is the normal one, and blocks 2–8 are premium. The normal block is very old, large, and feels more like a hospital, with no balcony. The premium blocks are newer, smaller, and better maintained. Both types of blocks have Wi-Fi, AC, and 24/7 water coolers.
Faculty: All faculty members are Ph.D. holders with long teaching experience. They help with doubts and guide students in their careers. The exams are slightly on the tougher side. If you study well, you can easily get above an 8 GPA. Otherwise, you may fail or need to take supplementary exams.
Other: I am from the AI & ML course. I have a keen interest in machines and models, so I chose this course. The course is good, but I have not gained much practical knowledge yet. I have trained models, but I have not done large-scale projects. The campus crowd is very large.

The campus life is improving, and conditions are getting better every year.
Placements: 90% of students are placed with an average package of 7 LPA. The highest package is 53 LPA till now, offered by Zomato. The lowest package is around 5 LPA, possibly from Cognizant. Internships are to be done on their own. The placement cell is good, but strict at the same time. They are very particular about timings and close the gate 5 minutes before the official closing time.
Infrastructure: The mess food is of poor quality. The drinking water is also not good. However, facilities are improving with the introduction of night canteens and kettle points. Medical facilities are good. Sports facilities are average. Wi-Fi is okay, but the network in hostels is poor.
Faculty: Mostly, grades are based on the teacher's choice. Slots of the subject due to relative grading. To get good grades, select a class with fewer toppers. Then you will get better grades. Mostly toppers take morning slots, so avoid them and take evening slots.
Other: Advitya is a good event.

It is good, but it can be better.
Placements: Almost 70 to 80 percent of students get placed (some of them opt to withdraw from placements after 2 months). The highest package is 75 LPA, and the lowest is 3 LPA, with an average of 4.5 LPA. The top recruiting companies are TCS, ZS, etc. Not many students get internships. Only a few do.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of the course is decent but could be much better, although it has improved now. The hostel facilities used to be poor, but are now okay. The food in some messes needs improvement, as most of the time it is not served hot enough.
Faculty: The teaching staff is good but lacks practical experience. However, most of them are qualified to teach. The curriculum is good, but it needs to be more practical. Semester exams are quite difficult but not extreme. The pass percentage depends on the subject.
