VIT Chennai offers BTech in full-time mode at UG level. This undergraduate engineering course lasts four years. To get admission, students must meet the eligibility and selection requirement. Check below VIT Chennai BTech highlights:
Eligibility: The institute has also specified the eligibility criteria for VIT Chennai courses. Students must pass Class 12 with minimum aggregate of 60% of marks in Mathematics, Physics and Chemistry and with not less than 50% in Mathematics. Selection Process
To be eligible, students must pass Class 12 with minimum aggregate of 60% of marks in Mathematics, Physics and Chemistry and with not less than 50% in Mathematics. BTech admission at VIT Chennai is entrance-based. Seats are allocated to eligible applicants through online counselling. Candidates are shortlisted for counselling based on their VITEEE ranks. However, candidates seeking admission to BTech (Fashion Technology) are shortlisted based on their performance in Class 12/equivalent exam and personal interviews. While registering for the counselling, candidates must select VIT Chennai as their preferred campus.
Admission Confirmation
Provisional admission letter is offered to selected candidates after the counselling process. Such candidates must report to the allotted campus for document verification. On successful verification of the required documents, candidates must submit the applicable VIT Chennai fees to confirm their admission.

35 questions are alloted to Physics and Chemistry each. 10 questions are allotted to Aptitude. 5 questions are allotted to English. 40 questions are alloted to Mathematics (MPCEA)/ Biology (BPCEA).
VIT Chennai BTech admission process is incomplete without physical verification of the documents required to establish the eligibility of a candidate.
