No, VIT Vellore does not have a B.Sc. in Biotechnology, but it has a programme called B.Tech in Biotechnology which is a more specialised and advanced degree in the biotechnology field. For campus of VIT the admission process is same, you have to go through the entrance exam 'VITEEE' acording to your rank you will sit for your counselling process where you can select the campus and brunch you want. Also you can get direct admission on the M.Tech itegrated course otne basis of your 12th marks. you must hane at least 70% in PCM

Not 100% with good salary but if you get CSE then you will secure placement, if you maintain 8.5 or above CGPA then you will get a good palcement. this year TCS took 2800 student with only 3.5lpa package. but still this year avg package is 12lpa. many student had garb good palcement.hope you like the answer.thank you

1.Placement:Before enrolling in VIT-AP, check in which branch and specialisation you are getting admission. Ex: CSE-CORE, CSE-AI, CSE-Network Security etc. vs CSE, ECE, MECH etc. This is  the most important thing to pay attention to. You won't know its importance until you actually go there. You will  regret  this mistake (choose your specialization). Here are the reasons why:2. The only stream that got a good rank is CSE-Core. All other specializations like AI, DS, NS etc. only serve business purpose and generate profit by increasing category fees, not a career. Mark my words. If you visit your placement, you will see that there is hardly any choice in any specialization. It is a fact. A core student with CGPA of 8 will be shortlisted in 10 companies and a specialisation student with CGPA of 8.8 will be shortlisted in 3-4 companies (fact).3. VIT-AP says they get 700 companies, ask them to announce how many companies they have shortlisted, if you are lucky and are from CSE-CORE you will be shortlisted maximum 60-70 out of 700 companies. Example: During the job search process, you are really looking forward to the job. I will explain the following scenario: "A certain company comes with a 15 LPA package and you are excited to achieve it with your laptop in front of you, when you get a "shortlist" which is just for students to be eligible for company audits. Nearly 14 companies come every week but you can write to only 3-4 companies. Out of 700 companies, you end up writing to a maximum of 60 companies. Lots of companies come to your college but you  only get a few. By the end of December, your chances of getting a job are very low.

The tuition fee for BTech courses at Calcutta Univeristy ranges from INR 30,800 to INR 40,500 and the tuition fee for BTech at VIT Vellore ranges from INR 4.9 Lacs to INR 7.8 lakh. Conclusively, the tuition fees of Calcutta University is more affordable than VIT Vellore. Hence, Calcutta University is more affordable.
