VIT Vellore was established by Dr. G Viswanathan as Vellore Engineering College in 1984. Later, in 2001 it attained a University status. It consists of 15 schools. What is VITEEE?
Out of all entrance examinations conducted by Vellore Institute of Technology, VITEEE is most popularly attempted for undergraduate engineering admission. VITEEE is held as an annual exam and candidates have to qualify it for admission. Based on score obtained in VITEEE, candidates are allotted seats. VITEEE is held as a computer based test at different exam centres. No other exam scores are used for admission.
