The cutoff marks involved in the MHT CET examination to get into VIT – Vidyalankar Institute of Technology are different for different branches and for the different categories of the students. According to the previous year data for the year 2022-2023, for VIT the MHT CET cutoff was at around 90-95 percentile for computer engineering, 85-90 percentile Electronics and Telecommunication engineering, 80- 85 percentile Mechanical Engineering, 75-80 percentile Civil Engineering. For other branches such as information technology, electrical engineering and biomedical, the percentile score ranged between 80-85. The reservation categories involved are to alter every year based on the marks scored in the MHT CET exam.

The following are eligibility criteria for international students who wish to seek admission in VIT and DTU:- *VIT*: It requires the foreign applicants to meet all the same conditions as the Indian students; however, they should provide proof of qualifications equivalent to the Indian 10+2 or equivalent examination. For undergraduate courses, physics, chemistry, and mathematics were studied as core subjects, along with some qualifying score obtained in a recognised examination (like SAT, ACT or others). They will further need to satisfy VIT's criteria for entry, which may include an entrance examination or be offered direct admission.- *DTU*: If anyone wants to take admission in DTU, then he should be an international student including Indian origin student and should have completed secondary education, and all this with requirements of Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics to qualify in percentage. Generally admissions are conducted through the common JEE Main exam, while some admissions could also be possible through other means such as PIOs or OCIs. Note that all foreigners need to submit authentic educational transcripts and undergo health examinations before admission. Also must submit insurance cost proof.Each of the universities may have some other specific requirements; hence, it is advisable to check their official admission pages for further and updated particulars.

For example, results for the odd semester, which consists of December end examinations, are generally announced by the end of the January, while those of the even semester with May end examinations are declared by the end of June.
