The following are eligibility criteria for international students who wish to seek admission in VIT and DTU:- *VIT*: It requires the foreign applicants to meet all the same conditions as the Indian students; however, they should provide proof of qualifications equivalent to the Indian 10+2 or equivalent examination. For undergraduate courses, physics, chemistry, and mathematics were studied as core subjects, along with some qualifying score obtained in a recognised examination (like SAT, ACT or others). They will further need to satisfy VIT's criteria for entry, which may include an entrance examination or be offered direct admission.- *DTU*: If anyone wants to take admission in DTU, then he should be an international student including Indian origin student and should have completed secondary education, and all this with requirements of Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics to qualify in percentage. Generally admissions are conducted through the common JEE Main exam, while some admissions could also be possible through other means such as PIOs or OCIs. Note that all foreigners need to submit authentic educational transcripts and undergo health examinations before admission. Also must submit insurance cost proof.Each of the universities may have some other specific requirements; hence, it is advisable to check their official admission pages for further and updated particulars.

Documents needed for UG application for B.E/B.Tech in VIT - Vidyalankar Institute of Technology are 10th standard mark sheet (INR 10/- stamp size photo), 12th standard mark sheet (INR 10/- stamp size photo), JEE Main or MHT CET scorecard, caste certificate if required and income certificate if required. Also, the candidates have to produce a photocopy of their Aadhaar card, photocopy of Domicile Certificate and a Medical Certificate. These documents must be sworn by a gazetted officer or any notary public. According to the institute, a student needs to produce 10 to 12 documents which can be issued either personally or through post.

For instance, Gaurav Kamboj from the 2013 batch was recently recruited on the Cloud Architect position at Hotstar, he receives INR 25 Lacs for a year or 2, 50,000 rupees per month. Other place, Rohan Shah has completed PG from IIT and working as a Senior Software Engineer in GOOGLE Company and drawing of upto INR 300000/-PA. The threshold that the candidate has to score in the admission to the VIT - Vidyalankar Institute of Technology depends on the course a candidate is applying for and what category he or she belongs to. For B.E./B.Tech courses, the percentage there in JEE Main has been around 80-90% and in MHT CET, it is around 90-95%. The minimum requirement for Computer Engineering is between 92-95 percentile in JEE Main and between 95-98 percentile in MHT CET. For the other branches such as electronics and telecommunication engineering, mechanical engineering, civil engineering it lies around 80-90 of JEE Main percentiles and 90-95 of MHT CET. The cutoff marks however differ year by year depending with the performance of those students in their entrance examinations.

The hostel mess of VIT - Vidyalankar Institute of Technology offers good quality of foods where students rate it 4.2 out of 5. The mess caters vegetarian as well as non vegetarian foods and there is a change in menu on a monthly basis. It still has a contractual system of operation with different contractors starting their contracts every two years in the interest of quality and hygiene. The mess charges range about INR 3,500 per month; however, the students can select the meal plan and pay or can pay the amount according to their consumptions. The institute also has a student mess committee that oversees matters to do with quality and hygiene in the foods provided to the students.
