VIT offers admission to the BSc programmes based on merit in the last qualifying exam. There is no entrance exam score required for selection. Candidates fulfilling the eligibility criteria can apply through the VIT Vellore official website. Following this, a merit list is published on the official website. The shortlisted candidates then need to participate in the counselling round (online/physical). However, if a candidate is called for counselling, then that does not guarantee admission. The final selection depends upon the candidate's rank and the availability of seats.
