Some faculty members are, good average placements in 2025, average infrastructure and facilities.
Placements: I am studying in 6th sem right now. So as of now, None of the students from my batch have been placed or have you gotten any internship offer. So I? Ll be taking my seniors batch as an example around 25 to 30 percent of them have been placed most of them in technical roles in companies such as Samsung, but few of them have been placed in core Industries such as Alten, the highest package was 10 LPA, the average was 6.8 LPA and the lowest was 4LPA. The top roles offered are software developed and in automation sector.
Infrastructure: The library is good. The classrooms are average size. I feel like it could have been a bit more bigger. The labs are mostly machines oriented, but the labs which have computers do have Wi-Fi facility. Overall I can say that it is average. The quality of food in the hostel is very good. The rooms are also of good size. Both indoor and outdoor games are available such as football, cricket, basketball, football tennis, caroom, chess and table, tennis. For a tier 3 college I think it? S pretty good.
Faculty: Some of the faculty members are really good, but most of them are average the teaching quality is I would say average. CIT is an autonomous Institute. It? S course curriculum is vtu integrated, so I feel like it does not make the students industry ready. The semester exams are moderate difficult. It can be passed with the proper effort and the past percentage for the previous sem was around 75 percent.

It is better than I expected, but it can be even better. It has good infrastructure and facilities.
Placements: 80 percent of students get placed in our college. The highest package offered overall is 28 LPA, and the lowest package offered is 3 LPA. The average package offered ranges from 5-6 LPA. Top recruiting companies like Infosys, TCS, Google, Cognizant, and Accenture hire students. I guess 70 to 80 percent of students got internships. The top roles offered are none, as we have not gotten the exposure yet.
Infrastructure: We have well-maintained labs. Wi-Fi is available throughout the campus. We have two libraries and even a digital library that helps with a quiet environment. The quality of food for me is actually very good. I'm extremely satisfied. It has a good hostel.
Faculty: Many teachers are helpful, qualified, and knowledgeable. Teaching quality for Maths, Physics, Card, and soft skills is top-notch. The course curriculum is relevant. It doesn't really make students industry-ready, or we haven't reached that point. It has 8 semesters. The pass percentage is 100 percent.
Other: I chose this course because I have no other choice as I am a PCMB student. I haven't found anything better about this course yet. I wish they would focus on skill development activities, as they are really helpful in the future for us. Few events and fests are organised. The campus crowd is okay. The campus surroundings are peaceful.

Review of Sri Jayachamarajendra College of Engineering, JSS STU.
Placements: Good companies do come for placements, and it is the single best pro of this college. This year, the average package offered is around 11 LPA, with CSE leading in terms of employment and the highest package. The number of companies coming for internships is good. An ample chance is given for students to get internships.
Infrastructure: The hostel is dirty and neglected. Cleanliness does not exist for the warden. Our college lab facilities are decent and well-equipped. Notably, the golden jubilee block is the best out of all. Sports facilities are good since the college is huge. An in-house gym is available too, which is free for the college students.
Faculty: The course curriculum is outdated, and it is even mentioned by one of our recruiters on campus. This is common among many engineering colleges in India. Teachers are a mixed bag. Some teachers are good, but some are absolutely average. There is no form of accountability available for the quality of teachers offered by the college.
Other: It is a good and affordable option with a good return on investment, so I chose this course. The food can be a challenge for students who are not accustomed to South Indian food. Fests happen once every 2 years, but it's worth it. The technical clubs are good. Although there is a scarcity of non-technical clubs. This is quickly changing as the number of students in each batch is increasing.

The college is good and I am satisfied.
Placements: 50% of students were placed in my course for a degree in microbiology 2 to 3 LPA for bachelor’s, 6 to 8 LPA for master’s. We will get jobs in hospitals, laboratories, and the food and dairy industry. There are also internships in clinical, hospital, laboratory, and industrial settings. Top roles for this course are microbiologist, laboratory technician, and quality assurance. We are also eligible for hospital positions.
Infrastructure: Wi-Fi is not available in our department, and the network is also not good. Labs are provided with every instrument and chemical. Classrooms and libraries are good, and every facility is provided. More than 1000 books are available. Hostel and PG accommodations are provided with good quality food and good facilities. The mess canteen in college also provides hygienic food. Sports and games are eligible for both girls and boys.
Faculty: Lectures are well qualified with B.Ed, Master’s, and PhD degrees and are helpful. Microbiology lectures are kind and helpful, but you can’t expect the same in every department of life sciences. This course is curriculum-relevant. It provides a strong basic foundation and prepares students to work in the industry. Exams depend on how we study. Passing marks are a minimum of 50%.
Other: This course gives us basic knowledge to work in the industry and hospitals, and to be aware of bacteria and viruses. It provides us with knowledge about life sciences. In our college, events and fests are held at least every month, and anyone interested in events like dance, drama, arts, etc., can attend. There are numerous events where students can showcase their skills. Scholarships are also provided for good scores.

It provides good placements and faculty.
Placements: 80% students who sit for placements are placed. The average package is around 4 LPA. Top recruiting companies are Infosys, TCS, Novigo, etc. The faculty ensures that every student gets internship opportunities. Almost everyone gets good internships. Faculty are very friendly and humble.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure is very good. AC labs and clean washrooms. Spacious classrooms. They provide a school bus facility, and the hostel is free for B.Tech CSE students, only the mess is to be paid. Karnataka CM recently visited our college. Student life is not that good because of the Muslim management.
Faculty: Faculty are very helpful. They go out of their way to ensure we learn. The course does not make students industry-ready as it focuses more on theory and in-depth studies. The semester exams are easy, as it is a VTU exam. The college is affiliated with VTU. Around 97% pass in the 4 year duration.
Other: I chose this course because it is one of the most in-demand courses.
