M.Tech in Structural Engineering.
Placements: Soma, Shobha Develops, Tata projects, W&C Atkins, L&T construction, Afcons, and other sourcing companies came for the on-campus recruitment in the sector of structural engineering graduates. An INR 5.2 LPA package was the best deal in 2023, and it was 8.5 LPA in 2024, followed by 13.6 LPA in 2025 for structural engineering graduates.
Infrastructure: Visvesvaraya Technological University had its own branches in various regions, but was most familiar in the region of Belagavi for technical-based education. Actions like compulsion, forcing were not much encouraged by the college management, and fees levied from students depend upon the course demand and some other factors.
Faculty: Professors were well recognised, and they well deserved to receive the honours and rewards. Exams were conducted in three terms, including internals as further tests, and other practices were also conducted so that interested students could go through them.

Best College in COMEDK for Engineering.
Placements: The placement in our course was around 85 percent. The highest package offered in our course was 18 LPA. The average package was around Rs. 9 LPA. Top recruiting companies were Hyundai, Schneider, etc. Approximately 75 percent of students got paid internships.
Infrastructure: The facilities and infrastructure available for our course were good. Wi-Fi facility, library, and modern classroom were available. The college was located in a city that was of great benefit for students. The hostel quality was also very nice. The mess food was average. A sports ground was present.
Faculty: Teachers were well-qualified and knowledgeable to teach us. The teaching method was also good and easy to understand the deep concept. The course curriculum was relevant. College had international collaboration, which helps students gain industry exposure and make them industry-ready. The semester exam was a little tough.

My personal review of this college.
Placements: I am from Dr Ambedkar Institute of Technology, Bangalore. 5 years ago, Dr AIT was considered one of the best colleges in Bangalore. When it was awarded an autonomous degree, it slowly fell down the table from a top-ranked college. When it comes to placements, it is bad, only TCS recruits a good amount of students, and the companies visiting the college are fewer. Mech and civil are the worst branches in AIT, most of the students don't get placed. I would rate 3.5/5 for placements.
Infrastructure: I recommend that you try some other college before DR AIT. However, the college is trying to improve. The infrastructure and hostel are good, but not all facilities are provided. Make sure you visit the college once before joining. Some things, like the hostel food and older buildings, could be better, but it's a solid place to study engineering. I would rate 2/5 for sports.
Faculty: Dr. AIT is just a good college overall. The teachers are not very helpful, but the campus has a calm vibe. Make sure you make proper connections and take advantage of everything available. Most of the students are from North Karnataka. The teachers are highly experienced and of good quality.
Other: I would rate 4/5 for fests. Overall, I would rate 2.5/5.

Infrastructure: In my college, the facilities are good, and the infrastructure is good. Wi-Fi is provided. The labs are good and provide AC and a projector. Classrooms are good and have AC and a projector. The library is good and provides many books. In the hostel, the quality of food is good.
Faculty: Faculty members are qualified and helpful. Faculty members are very knowledgeable and qualified for teaching. The teaching quality is good, and we are approached by students in a friendly manner. In the semester, we have conducted two mid exams and one final exam. The pass percentage of exams is 40 percent.

Placements: The placement in our course is approximately 80-85 percent of the eligible students. The highest package offered in our course is 12 LPA. The average package is around 6 LPA-7 LPA. Top Recruiting companies were Qualcomm, Tata Technologies, BHEL, BEL, etc.
Infrastructure: The facilities and infrastructure available for our course are extremely good. Wi-Fi facility is available. Labs are well-equipped with instruments and machinery. There are modern computer labs. VLSI lab is also present. Hostel quality is also good. All essential facilities are available.
Faculty: The professor of our course is good. The teaching quality of our faculty members is good. They are helpful, qualified, and knowledgeable. The course curriculum is relevant. Students got trained and became industry-ready. The semester examinations are moderate.

Please do some serious study and aim for IIT.
Placements: Students are eligible for placements from the 3rd sem. Companies such as Atkins Brigade and Shoba visited the college. The highest package offered was 7LPA. 70 Percent of students got placed. I plan to do a Ph.D. after this. There were internships provided by TCS Wipro and many companies.
Infrastructure: The library was vast with lots of books available. The classroom had projectors. We had a huge ground for sports. Clubs such as theatre club fashion club etc. Hostels were good they were mostly two seated. Mess food was average. Wi-Fi was all over the campus. There were cricket grounds volleyball court and many other grounds present.
Faculty: Faculty members were good and they taught very nicely. They start from basics and teach you in detail. They were highly experienced and very friendly and they always try their best to solve our problems. They conduct regular tests and exams. There were two semesters in a year and each semester had two sessions which were conducted by the college. The course curriculum was well structure and relevant covering the key concepts with practical applications. It prepares students for real world challenges but could include more hands on training.

Absolutely good for the masters.
Placements: Students are eligible for placements from the 3rd semester. Companies such as Atkins, Brigade, and Shoba visited the college. The highest package offered is 7 LPA. About 70 percent of students got placed. I plan to do a Ph.D. after this. The college provides internship opportunities. Stipends vary, with some being unpaid. Projects include various attributes, helping students gain hands-on experience and industry exposure from time to time as well.
Infrastructure: NMIT provides on-campus hostels for both boys and girls with 1689 capacity. Twin-sharing rooms are available for 1st year students. Second year onwards, boys may opt for twin-sharing or four-sharing rooms. Wi-Fi all over the campus with CCTV security. Computer labs are spacious and have a good number of PCs. Classrooms are spacious and digitally updated, and also air-conditioned. The library is good, and open till 12:00 AM.
Faculty: The faculty-to-student ratio in my college is decent, ensuring that students get enough attention. Most of the professors are approachable and willing to help if you put in the effort to interact with them. There are two semesters in the first year. In the second year, there are presentations, journal club, research work, etc.

Placements: Placements are quite good, as being in the 7th semester I'm already placed in one of the mass recruitment TCS, and many core companies visit the campus, to name few are Microsoft, CISCO, IBM, Accenture, and many others for recruiting the students from the college. The average salary is about 4 LPA. Last year nearly 400 students out of 550 were placed.
Infrastructure: Studying communication helps in applying it to everyday life. As the communication field evolves daily, it offers better opportunities for research. The college labs support proper research. I have taken Digital Switching Systems and Wireless Communication courses, which provide a solid understanding of the telephone’s evolution and current communication modes. Regarding hostel facts: there are 3 hostels for boys and 2 for girls. The mess has two wings—one serving South Indian food and the other North Indian.
Faculty:
Exams always bring the hill in the spine. We have the following structure 1. 3 internal assessment exams with monthly gaps which will be conducted over 3 days. 2 lab internal tests will be conducted. Lab external will be conducted. Teachers are highly qualified, few have doctorates from IIT and others are from renowned institutes, only a handful of the staff don't have doctorates. They share their knowledge and guide us in the right direction, based on our interests. The standard of teaching is effective.
