Q:   Does VTU Belgaum accept JEE score?

A:

The undergraduate admissions at our institute are conducted through a comprehensive evaluation process that considers scores from various entrance exams. Specifically, for engineering programs, the Joint Entrance Examination (JEE Main) plays a pivotal role in assessing the candidates' aptitude and knowledge in the field. Additionally, for courses related to architecture, the Karnataka Common Entrance Test (KCET) is a key determinant in the admission process, emphasizing the importance of subject-specific assessments.

On the other hand, postgraduate admissions offer a diverse range of programs including M.Tech, M.Arch, MBA, MCA, and MCA (Lateral). This variety reflects the institute's commitment to providing advanced education across multiple disciplines. The Master of Technology (M.Tech) and Master of Architecture (M.Arch) programs cater to individuals seeking specialisation in engineering and architecture, respectively.

For those inclined towards management, the Master of Business Administration (MBA) programme is tailored to hone leadership skills and business acumen. Meanwhile, the Master of Computer Applications (MCA) program, along with its lateral entry option, accommodates the dynamic needs of the evolving IT landscape.

The institute's emphasis on a diverse array of postgraduate courses underscores its dedication to nurturing expertise across sectors, thereby contributing to a well-rounded educational environment that prepares students for the challenges of the professional world. Overall, the admissions process reflects a commitment to academic excellence and the holistic development of students.

Q:   When are VTU Belgaum application forms out?

A:

The deadline for submitting application forms for the coursework examinations of the PhD programme in July 2023 is crucial for prospective candidates. To ensure a smooth process, applicants must adhere to the specified dates. The regular deadline, without incurring a late fee, is set for June 22. This cutoff date emphasizes the importance of timely submission, allowing the administrative process to proceed efficiently.

However, there is a brief grace period for those who miss the initial deadline. Applicants have the opportunity to submit their forms until June 24, but this extension comes at a cost of INR 500 as a late fee. This provision serves as a reminder to candidates that while there is flexibility, it is not without consequence. The imposition of a late fee encourages applicants to prioritize timely submissions and helps the institution manage administrative tasks effectively.

Prospective candidates should be diligent in adhering to these deadlines to avoid complications in the application process. Meeting the initial deadline not only demonstrates organizational skills but also reflects a commitment to the program's guidelines. For those facing unforeseen circumstances, the extended deadline provides a limited window to complete the application process with the understanding that a late fee will be incurred. Overall, the dual deadlines aim to strike a balance between flexibility and accountability in the application process for the upcoming PhD coursework examinations in July 2023.

NIE college review by a student.
Placements: Almost everybody has been placed in my batch of my course. 95% of the people get placed in our college. The highest package of last year was 45 lpa, the lowest is around 5 lpa, and the average package is 10 lpa. Top roles offered by companies are software developer and data engineer.
Infrastructure: Our campus is huge and has a lot of greenery on the campus, so it looks beautiful. There is a Wi-Fi facility on the campus for students. There is a separate lab building only for the labs to be conducted. There is a library too. Hostel rooms are very clean with good infrastructure, and the quality of food is average.
Faculty: Yes, teachers and lecturers at my colleges are well qualified, and some are even with doctorate degrees too. Teaching quality is good but also can be improved a little bit. The curriculum is relevant and mostly emphasizes on theory. Semester exams are not very difficult.

Review of P. A college of Engineering .
Placements: In my college, around 4 to 5 companies were coming for placements every year. 60 to 70 students were selected in different companies like Infosys, Qspider, Microsoft, etc. In our college, they were providing internships in last semester. English class, spoken English classes, about how to attend, interviews, etc. are conducted.
Infrastructure: I will provide free Wi-Fi to everyone and the labs. We are always open; anyone can improve their technical skills with the assistant or a teacher. We can make a library pass without any cost, and we can go to the library at any time. We can spend time reading books, and if you want, we can take the books for reading or studying purposes with no cost. In the hostel, they provide one room for three people, and there are three beds with pillows and bed covers, two cupboards, and three studying tables. I am coming to the food hostel. Food is very tasty, and we can have it however much you want. I love hostel food because it's like our home food .
Faculty: The teachers are very helpful for giving us lectures and caring like their children, improving our technical skills, speaking skills, and seminars. They are qualified teachers, and they know everything. Our college provides mentors. If anything we have to tell the teacher, we can go to our mental. The semester exam is always a shield to every student, but our teacher will make us motivated and give an acute lecture before the exam starts, and most of the time they are so kind to us. The pass percentage is about we have to score 36 marks out of 100 .
Other: I chose this course because I want to become a cyber security engineer or a game developer. For that I will have to choose computer science, and I want to know the basic knowledge about coding, Python, Java, etc. Apart from the syllabus, my teachers helped me a lot to improve my coding skills and give me more information about Python and Java. Even our HOD ma'am is very kind to us, and she is there for every situation to help us.

No campus life @ NMAM Institute of Technology!
Placements: Placements are average, around 7 LPA, and not all students get placed, but a decent amount does. The highest package was off-campus, about 46 LPA. Top recruiters are Accenture, Wipro, Tech Mahindra, etc. Internships are also available, and they are average as well.
Infrastructure: All labs and facilities are available, and some of them are good too. However, the Wi-Fi service they provide is the worst. It's not just in the hostel, but even on their own so-called college campus. They block entertainment sites on their Wi-Fi, taking away the only source of entertainment.
Faculty: The teachers here are super helpful and nice. They are well qualified, but some of them teach classes in a branch that is completely different from their department. For example, mechanical staff teaching IT skills and all. The exams occur three times in a semester, with two midterms and one end semester exam. They are pretty easy to score in.

Strong academic environment and infrastructure, but placement support needs enhancement at MSRIT.
Placements: Students were offered more than 1600 offers; most of them were placed and some went for higher studies or exams like CAT, etc. The highest package was 24 LPA (international) and the average was 10 LPA in mechanical branch. The roles offered were almost on core .
Infrastructure: Classrooms are good labs have a lot of facilities; the library is good and is open till 11 p.m. for exams; support facilities are average. They have a ground for football, cricket, and volleyball; badminton court; basketball court; and a tennis court. Basketball and tennis courts are synthetic .
Faculty: Teachers are well qualified, and most of them have Ph.D. degrees from prestigious colleges. They are helpful with studies and help them know things better some of the professors are not that good in electives but mechanical teachers are good. Exams are easy and not that difficult to pass. Most of the students pass.

Honest and quick review.
Placements: 1)considering the batch of 2024 my seniors mentioned that only some of them opted for campus placement. 2)the average placement for mechanical is from 10 to 12 Lacs. 3)last year one of seniors got a package of 18 Lacs. 4) volvo, tata, and benz were some of the companies. 5)my seniors mentioned that a good connection with the department can get u internships easily.
Infrastructure: 1)u huge library with lot of reference books and study materials, free Wi-Fi for students and faculty, fully air conditioned classrooms so on. 2)as I d'ont stay in hostel the food in this hostel is pretty good. 3)there are international and Indian hostels which serves non veg and veg also. 4)the feels is about 3 Lacs.
Faculty: 1)the teachers are very helpful in all aspects and situations. 2)the teaching quality depends from teacher, some teachers are amazingly good that one lecture makes a topic easily understandable. 3)this curriculum does indeed make us industry ready with the latest knowledge in almost all computer aided software design programs. 4)the semester exams for mechanical could be challenging as it contains lot of huge numericals and problems.
Other: 1)some deviation from other software based courses and love towards cars and moving parts of all machines and so on. 2)some of the best things of this course are :practical applications, building practical objects. 3)addition of more industry based topics in the very early stages could interest students even more. 4)bmsce conducts its yearly fest and many other department based programs frequently. 5)college could have a bigger play ground as the current one is small, also cant complain as it situated in the center of the city.
