It is an above-average college.
Placements: I will give 3.5 out of 5 for it because placements are coming regularly. The package offered is low, as compared to the college standards. The average package ranges from 2.5-3 LPA. Most of the companies are offering placements in the sales department, and it is the reason behind the low placement records, as students don't want to go for sales. Top recruiting companies for our course are BNY, Melon, and L&T. The posting is allotted in Pune and in some Northern states. Only 30% of students get placed. No internship is provided for B.Com students.
Infrastructure: Libraries and labs are excellent. But mainly, the B.Com building [Chit Vihar] is the oldest building, so our classrooms are not up to good standards. But the engineering building was excellent as it is new. Wi-Fi is only provided for using laptops, and it is good.
Faculty: The course curriculum is excellent. Portions are really tough, and the credit is also very high. The total credits are 150 for B.Com, and no university can provide such a standard syllabus. Staff members are skillful and knowledgeable. They provide good teaching.
Other: I chose this course because of the specific course [BFSI], which is a specialised course only available at SASTRA University. The best thing is that the subject papers are very useful as they provide a lot of knowledge and information about finance and bank-related services. This course is better, and there is no need to improve or change anything. They also teach tally here, which is more useful. The only thing about SASTRA was to study. Other than studying, it will be the worst. There are no events, sports, culturals, or programs. It happened rarely once a year, known as kuruksastra.

The infrastructure is really good with facilities and placements.
Placements: 75% of students get placed. The highest package is 14 LPA, the average package is 8 LPA, and the lowest package is 4 LPA. The top recruiting companies are TCS, Infosys, CUB Bank, and Federal Bank. Top roles include accountant, bank manager, financial consultant, and IT jobs.
Infrastructure: Facilities and infrastructure are better compared to others. It includes the library, labs, medical and hospital facilities, canteens, and so on. The hostel in Sastra is good, and the quality of the food in both the mess and canteens is good. They also give importance to sports and games.
Faculty: Teachers are highly qualified, knowledgeable, and experienced. The course curriculum is relevant as it provides detailed learning for students to get placements and be ready for the industry. The semester exams are quite difficult, and the pass percentage is 35.
Other: I chose this course because I would like to work in the banking sector. The events and fests are great as they provide opportunities to participate. The campus is very green and nature-friendly. They also provide scholarships for students who have secured above 95% in their 12th Boards. Additionally, they have inter-college events as part of this fest.

Good placements, but too expensive for a B.Com course.
Placements: Students' average percentage is 80% or above. The average salary ranges from Rs. 25,000 to Rs.35,000. Top recruiters are from the banking sector, including City Union Bank, Federal Bank, etc. Students with more than 7.5 CGPA get into companies like Wipro. Bank Manager and Insurance Officer are some common roles offered in B.Com (BFSI).
Infrastructure: The classrooms are pretty normal with enough ventilation. A good number of canteens are available, and labs are well-equipped. The library is huge with a wide range of books, but it has no air-conditioning. The food available in the canteens is very affordable, but hygiene depends on the specific canteen. The college provides good medical services and has both indoor and outdoor stadiums for different kinds of sports.
Faculty: Teachers are knowledgeable and friendly, which makes it easy to approach them for any help or doubts. Some faculty also provide free counseling and advice regarding your career path. The teaching quality is good. The curriculum is very much applicable to the course and makes students ready for specific sectors like banking and insurance. The semester exam is moderate, and the pass percentage requires a minimum aggregate of 50% in both Continuous Internal Assessment (CIA) and End-Semester Examinations.
Other: I chose this course because of my keen interest in accounting. The best thing about my course is its versatility, as it doesn't confine you to a single career path. I wish it had a more practical way of learning. There is one main fest called Kuruksastra, conducted for three consecutive days. The campus gets too crowded near the canteens during breaks, and different student clubs are available.

Satisfied and happy that I chose this university.
Placements: The placement faculty is very good. They provide us with personality development classes from 1st semester to train us for the placement process. They train us and teach us all the needed requirements. The starting salary package start from 20k to 30k.
Infrastructure: They provide us with a wonderful opportunity to grow our technical skills. There are plenty of computer labs with more than 120+ computer systems. They teach us basic MS Excel and MS Word for our future placement process. And about the canteen, there is 10+ canteen on the campus with delicious food.
Faculty: Most of the faculty members are PhD. Holder and the rest are research scholars. All the staff are very talented and experienced so they teach us every topic clearly and effectively. They provide us with past year's question papers for reference and provide us with the required materials. The passing percentage is higher.
Other: I chose this course because I love accountancy and I want a job in the finance field. About the programs, there are 3 major events, Daksh, Care Diem and the biggest of them all Kuruksastra. Kurukshetra is a 3-day event and a joyous event. One of those 3 days is an ethnic day where we get to wear our traditional outfits.

I am satisfied with the college.
Placements: There are n number of placements for B.Com. Students offering by the college. The top recruiting companies are
Federal bank,
BNY Mellon,
City union Bank etc. The average package will be 1.5 LPA to 4.5 LPA based on performance.
The top role for UG graduates will be Assistant Manager.
Infrastructure: Sastra Deemed University has 5g enabled Wi-Fi technology and superfast computer technology in the campus, and a very marvelous library with around 3 million books. Also library contains reading upstairs for reading books from outside.
Sastra has football, volleyball, basketball court and also has an indoor game stadium.
Faculty: Teachers are very help for the peoples in the campus even though they also encourage students to do international conferences.
They guide them lot to complete.
Also management ask regular feedback from the students about the faculty members directly from the students.
Other: I love accounting so I select this course and coming to best part without commerce no other departments will exist.

A review of School of Management, SASTRA.
Placements: Placements for our course are good. Because this is a special course launched only in SASTRA, and the course has good scope. Nearly 60% of students got placed. The lowest salary package offered is 2 LPA and the highest salary package offered is 4 LPA. Students were placed in well-reputed companies.
Infrastructure: The college has good infrastructure facilities like modern labs, gallery classrooms, and well-equipped labs. It is a better place to study. Buildings of the college look like a palace. All the problems are solved within the campus only. The college look likes a city with having 40 buildings including hostels.
Faculty: Our college has world-class faculty members. MBA faculty members handle our course, and it's possible only in Sastra. This course curriculum is set up with future gain for the student, and it's fully based upon the real approach. The teaching method is only theoretical. Whatever knowledge we want to gain, we get it from Sastra faculty members.

Absolutely satisfied with the quality of education and good placements in 2024.
Placements: 1. 80% of the students got placed and the other 20% chose higher studies like MBA.
2. 40,000 was the highlight package offered, average package offered was 20,000 and the lowest package offered was 15-12,000.
3. BNY Mellon, TCS, Deloitte, City Union Bank were the top recruiting companies.
4. Internship wasn't compulsory in our college so only 10% fo the students did it.
Infrastructure: Our college has the most amazing library which is the top facility offered by our college. Our college has the best laboratories with good equipments, there are more number of playgrounds and auditorium which are maintained neatly. Our college has gym facilities for both boys and girls. Hostels are managed with strict policies which is 100% safe for girls located inside the college campus itself. Food is also good with two different options every time, milk will be provided in the evening with quality snacks. Every food is 100% vegetarian. There's also a playground and shops inside the hostel.
Faculty: 1. Almost all the teachers were well experienced and qualified, got the best education there. Gained a lost of knowledge from our best teachers and scholars, Who taught as very well their elbeat knowledge and experience.
3. Yes this course curriculum is relevant and it does makes the students industry ready.
4. The exam toughness was average for my course. The pass percentile is 40%.

Good knowledge gain for my college and faculty improves our personality developments too.
Placements: There are 60% of students got placed in our campus. Companies like TCS, CUB BANK, INEGRATED ENTERPRISES etc. Roles we are recurruted for clerk, relationship officer, data entry clerk etc. There is no internship offers for students from our college for this course. After our passing out there may be internship may be offered.
Infrastructure: Whole class and infrastructures are well constructed. All facilities in lab, computer lab, library was very useful and in high level. Food in mess is good. There is no Wi-Fi for students using that was restricted. Classroom was neat and clean maintained.
Faculty: Teachers are well educated and there teaching is also understandable for all type of students. Our course is simply training for used in industry work like that. Our pass percentages is 40%. Semester are not that much difficult for knowledge students.
Other: I did like to work on accounting field so I choose the course. Improvement is enough for this course.
