Review of Gurucharan University, Silchar.

Placements: There are about 300 students who get the opportunity to study this course or get admission to it in 2026. Unfortunately, the placement cell has been established but has not yet become active. It will most probably become active within one to two years.

Infrastructure: There are academic facilities such as a library, labs, seminar hall, auditorium, and conference hall. There is also a canteen serving fresh and delicious food. There is an NCC department for students interested in sports and games. Hostel facilities are available at our college. I do not have much information about them because I stay with my parents, but I know that certain facilities are available in the hostel. The food available in our canteen is fresh and delicious.

Faculty: Faculty is very good. Extra classes are taken from time to time. All teachers in the department have a master's degree, and some of them also have a Ph.D. degree. Teachers are very friendly, helpful, and polite. They try to help students as much as possible. Teachers use whiteboards during classes. They solve students' problems in a friendly manner. They provide us with mentorship, and we also support them. The semester exams are not that tough if you study properly.

Other: I chose this course because India is growing in IT, banking, and business development. There are many students in each department. University crowd is good. There is no ragging. A fresher's party is also held at Gurucharan University, Silchar. My experience of university life is very good, and I am very happy with it.

Good for campus life. It is a better place to spend time.

Placements: 50% of students get placed. The highest package is 12 LPA. The lowest is 3 LPA. The average is 5–6 LPA. Recruiting companies are Maruti Suzuki, Indian Cement, etc. Everyone gets a chance to do an internship in local companies. The top role offered is manager.

Infrastructure: Sports facilities are available in the college. Various games are played on the annual function day. Debates and other activities are also done here. A gym is also there. A lift is also available. ACs are available. A canteen is also there. The building is also in good condition.

Faculty: Teachers are really good, with 3 associate professors in our department, that is, the Commerce department. The course provides students with the knowledge that is required to get a job. Exams are easy if you study hard. The pass percentage is around 33%.

Placements: The placement opportunities for BBA students at Assam University are moderate and depend on individual performance and skills. The reported highest salary for BBA is around 5.40 LPA. Recruiters associated with university include HDFC Bank, Axis Bank, IDBI Bank, ICICI Prudential, Airtel, Bank of Baroda, Berger Paints, and Patanjali. Internship opportunities are available through university placement cell. Students can get roles in banking, finance, marketing, sales, HR, and business development.

Infrastructure: Assam University provides decent infrastructure for BBA students. We have spacious classrooms and a well-equipped central library. Our college also provides hostel facilities for students with basic amenities. The infrastructure is suitable for academics and student activities. Students also get computer facilities, Wi-Fi, and other requirements.

Faculty: Teachers at Assam University are generally qualified, helpful, and knowledgeable. The teaching quality is satisfactory. The curriculum includes management, business, and commerce. It provides a good academic base, but students need some practical skills to become fully industry-ready. The academic environment is satisfactory. The exam difficulty level is moderate. But students can clear exams through regular studies and preparation.

Satisfied with the knowledge I gathered.

Placements: About 60 percent of students got placed and by far the highest package offered is 8.5 LPA, and the lowest is 3.5 LPA. The top roles offered are lab technician, research assistant, and assistant professor at government Institutes. Also, some of the students got placed at ISRO and DRDO.

Infrastructure: Our department has nearly everything that is required for the students. It has a dedicated practical lab equipped with high-tech instruments and machinery. The library also provides a decent collection of books and journals. The food provided at the hostel is decent, a little above average, and a yearly sports competition is also held.

Faculty: Teachers are really helpful, and each of the teachers holds a postgraduate degree with very good knowledge in their specific field. I fall under the new education policy, and in my opinion, the course curriculum is indeed relevant, and it does make students industry-ready. The difficulty of the semester exams is moderate, and the pass percentage is 30 percent.

Other: I chose this course because I like to know more about Physics and the impact it has on our day-to-day life. I'm a very curious person, and this course grabbed my attention. For me, the best thing about this course is that I got to know more about space.

Excellence everywhere, except the cramped classrooms.

Placements: It's very good for students who are placed in my course. The highest package in my location is approximately 5 LPA, the average is 2 LPA per annum, and the lowest package is 1 LPA to 7 LPA. I think 70-80 percent of students got internships. The recruiting companies are Agrotech and NGO. The role offered is a researcher.

Infrastructure: There is a lab but it's not a good lab and the lab is comparatively small for us. The library is good. The hostel is good. The cleanliness and mess are clean and good. Wi-Fi is there and annual sports are there. The best thing is NCC and discipline.

Faculty: Teachers are very helpful, qualified, and gentle. The teaching quality is good and it is relevant. It makes us ready for the industry. Semester exams are not too much difficult. The pass percentage is good enough, and the exam is strictly conducted.

Other: First of all, I chose this course because I liked the subject and I think it's interesting and the medicinal portion of plants, their value, etc. The best thing about our course is that the IDC subjects are there, in case there is a chance to study different subjects from different streams. I still can't find anything in my course that should be better. Events, fests, etc., are good.

Placements: Above 80% got placed. The highest is around 12 LPA, the lowest is around 3 LPA, and the average is 6 LPA. TATA, L&T, Flipkart, and TCA are top recruiters. About 60% got internships in many companies like IOCL, HP, and TATA. Everything is very nice. You can easily join our college through JEE Main or our college exam.

Infrastructure: Everything is good. Our college is very nice. The food can be made better, but at least it is nice to eat and healthy. The library is the most beautiful part of our college and is the largest in the northeast, with many books available for study.

Faculty: The faculty are very good and well-qualified, and you can easily consult them whenever you want to. Many professors are present who will guide you, and many seniors are also there to help you with everything you need. So overall, it’s a nice college to get admission to.

Other: Many fests occur with the help of juniors, and all the mess food should be better. The campus should be renovated.
