DU CUET-UG admit card will soon be released for the next session. Aspirants appearing for CUET-UG can download the hall ticket from the official website of NTA. Since DU accepts CUET UG and CUET PG for DU admission to UG and PG courses, the admit card is released on the official website of the National Testing Agency (NTA). DU admit card is also released for semester exams. Students can download the admit card online from the university's website. Semester exams are held offline two times a year.  

Usually, the Delhi University admit card is released a month prior to the conduct of the exam. Students appearing for the Centenary chance examination of semester mode can download their admit card from the official website of DU. DU Admit Card Dates 2025

CUET-UG admit card for DU UG courses is available. The admit card for CUET is usually out in May, whereas for CUET-PG, candidates can download the admit card in March. Below are the tentative dates for the release of DU admit card:

Q:   Can I take admission in DU MBA without CAT?
A:

No, aspirants wishing to apply for any of the MBA colleges under DU must pass CAT. DU colleges offering MBA provide maximum weightage to the CAT percentile. Check below the CAT weighate for admission at DU:

Q:   What is the DU selection process for B.Ed programme?
A:

Candidates can apply for DU admission via Common University Entrance Test (CUET). Before applying for the course, aspirants must check out the eligibility requirements. To apply students can visit NTA official website. After the entrance test, the cutoff marks are made available beind the login on the official samarth portal of the university. At the time of CUET registration, aspirants must selection DU as a preference.

Q:   How many marks are required in CUET to get admission in DU?

How to Download DU Admit Card 2025?

Students need to download or collect their Delhi University admit card to appear for any kind of DU exam. Below are the steps to download the DU hall ticket:

Steps to Download DU Admit Card 2025 for Semester Exam

DU hall ticket for semester exams are available online. Students must login on the official website of University of Delhi to download the hall ticket. Below are the steps:

Step 1: Go to the offical student portal or directly click on admit card link available on the DU home page.

Step 2: Login using college name, exam roll no., student name, date of birth and registered email-id.

Step 3: Click on 'Submit' and download the admit card.

Q:   Can I get admission at DU in a BSc course without CUET?
A:

No, Delhi University offers admission to the BSc programmes at its colleges based on CUET score only. There is no provision for direct admissions. Hence, aspirants must take the Common University Entrance Test (CUET). The national-level exam is conducted by National Testing Agency (NTA). It is conducted in different phases. Eligible students can apply on NTA website to take the test. Students seeking admission to DU colleges should select DU college plus preferred course at the time of registration. 

After CUET result declaration, aspirants are required to register on DU CSAS portal. The course and college allotment process is done based on the preferences submitted by the students during the form filling. After final selections, students can pay the admission fee to confirm admission.

Q:   How will I be allocated a seat at DU via the CSAS allocation (CUET UG counselling process)?
A:

For seat allocation at DU, students are required to lock their college and course preferences after the result is out. Delhi University will consider normalised scores provided by NTA to calculate the merit scores as per programme specific eligibility. The highest possible preference will be provisionally allocated to the candidates considering the following
criteria:

  • Program-Specific merit
  • Category of the students (UR/ OBC-NCL/ SC/ ST/ EWS/ Minority)
  • Availability of seats
  • Any other allocation rules, policies, or criteria citied by (CSAS (UG)- 2025) or University of Delhi
Q:   What is DU CUET UG Counselling process?
A:

Before the CUET counselling process for DU will even begin, it is necessary that aspirants opt for DU during CUET form filling and later apply on the CSAS portal to be eligible for admission. The admission process after CUET result declaration is explained below:

Step 1: After the declaration of the CUET UG exam, register on the DU CSAS portal in multiple phases.

Step 2: Submit College + Course combination preferences in the order of priority on the CSAS dashboard. 

Step 3: The University has released the dates for three DU CSAS Seat Allocation Lists for all categories. 

  • The "freeze" option in seat allocation for CSAS (DU) is to be selected by the students to confirm their admission choice to the allocated college and course at DU.
  • If candidates are happy with the assigned college and course, they can freeze the request through their dashboard.
  • Once they select this option, they will not be considered for "upgradation" of choice in further rounds of CSAS.
  • Candidates must only select this option only if they are satisfied with the allocated seat and want to take admission to this course & college
  • If they do not choose to upgrade or freeze your admission, their current status will be maintained.

Step 4: Once the candidate "Accept" the provisionally allocated seat, the concerned college will verify the eligibility and documents uploaded by the candidate online. The college has an option to 'Accept' or 'Reject' the admission of the student basis the verification. 

Step 5: Once the DU-affiliated college accords the approval, candidates will have to pay the 'Admission Fee' to confirm their seat. 

On the basis of the availability of seats due to rejections, cancellations, and withdrawals, DU may announce multiple allocation rounds. The University of Delhi will display the vacant seats on its admission website (admission.uod.ac.in) before every allocation round. 

Step 2: Go to candidate login.

Step 3: Candidates will be given two options to log in either through the application number and password or through the application number and date of birth. Candidate needs to click on their preference.

Step 4: Fill in the details as per the option selected in the prior menu. Additionally, the candidates need to enter the security pin and then click on sign-in

Step 5: Go to the admit card section and download it from there.

Challenges in Downloading DU Admit Card 2025

In case aspirants are facing any difficulty in downloading the DU admit card from the NTA official website or there is any discrepancy in the hall ticket related to the photograph of the candidate or signature of the candidate or confirmation page, candidates are advised to immediately approach the helpline between 10:00 AM to 5:00 AM.

NTA will be making the required changes in their records to avoid difficulty that may arise due to the discrepancy. For semester exam, students after collecting the admit card must report then and there to admission office for changes in case of any discrepancy.

DU Admit Card 2025: Exam Day Instructions

The university lists some instructions for the candidates appearing for the exam. One must read and follow all of them to avoid any difficulty. Below is some of the important exam day instructions for students:

  • Bring a valid id-proof along with the printed admit card on the day of the examination.
  • No candidate will be allowed to leave the examination hall before the end of the exam.
  • Do not bring textual materials inside the examination hall.
  • Bags, eatables and water bottles are not allowed inside the examination hall.
  • Students appearing for the exam should not carry Mobile Phones or any electronic gadgets inside the Examination Hall at the time of Examination.

Once the candidate downloads or collects their DU admit card, he or she must check all the details. In case of any discrepancy, report to the admission office. Aspirants must keep the admit card in good condition to carry it on the day of the examination.

Q. How can I download my DU entrance exam admit card?

A. Candidates must have an admit card to sit in any of the DU examination. Admit card is an important document for verification at the time of admission. Students must bring the admit card along with an id-card. In case, one does not have an admit card, he or she can carry a valid id-proof like Aadhaar Card, PAN Card, Driving License, etc. Students must check with the admission office of the college for details on ID-card.

Q. How do I write an FIR about missing a DU admit card?

A. As per information collated from web, missing or loss of an admit card does not require an FIR. Student can write a simple application addressed to the SHO of the Police station of the region where DU admit card was found missing. Student must how it was missing and how and when he/ she realised it. Student can request for issue of a certificate. This will serve the purpose and the student will be issued with a certificate about the missing admit card.
