Q2. How are you preparing your students to be Industry ready?
The global education scenario has increasingly become preoccupied with rankings as universities compete with each other on a cut throat basis. However, the Indian education system is still lagging behind compared to other countries. With younger generation thinking innovatively in the 21st century, their minds continuously need a unique way of learning things and consequently changes in the organizational structure of the university syllabus. Education in India currently needs effective innovations of scale that can improve the learning outcomes across the country. Educational innovations should not only focus on teaching and learning theory and practice but should also have a real time corporate knowledge on how things work in the real world. Hence it is very important that universities create a base for corporate entities to inculcate a unique way of learning things while students are pursuing their UG/PG courses. Education in India is provided by the government sector as well as the private sector, with control and funding coming from three levels: central, state and local. A unique approach is suggested in this paper where MNC’s will have the ability to train and tie up with colleges/universities saving them a lot of time and money whilst recruiting freshers. The problem of rote learning and students having only bookish knowledge is also automatically addressed in such a situation and this innovative way of learning will groom students to stand and contribute to the country and even make profits for the corporate entities. Every single company invest huge crores of rupees for training fresh employees rather than working on an integrated system with colleges in the final year to overcome such huge costs. Not only will the student then be aware of the corporate structure, he/she will also be able to confidently start his dream job with flying colours. This paper aims to bridge the gap between the university academic structure and the corporate world in a systematic approach and making student’s corporate ready.
Go Bold- Teaching with go-bold concept is to take up any kind of projects assigned by teachers. Students can collaborate with teachers and leaders in defining of the initiative quality in teaching concept
The above diagram shows the importance of the triangle –
Universities – Students - Corporate.
If something great can happen. It should happen with all the 3 aspects and City College is making a step to bridge the gap between Academics and Real time Work

Q4. How do you ensure that your course curriculum is up to date and meets industry requirements?
Bangalore Universities constantly update our curriculum according to industry developments, however, they have to look deeper into it and understand the industry requirements and match to the current job markets. They have to come out of the traditional methods of exams and do something which will help students in getting jobs abroad as well as in India. Bangalore Universities continuously research and take feedback from the industry experts on the changes in the industry which will be carefully reviewed by Board of Studies and approved by an expert panel of Academic Council.
