A strong alumni network which is present in the country as well as abroad helps in getting suitable opportunities & needed help to the juniors.
An alumni association is a platform which brings current & passed out students of a university or a college under one umbrella. GLA University being one of the best private universities in North India has a strong network of more than 33,000 alumni & currently, more than 3,500 GLAians are working abroad in various sectors & fields. The alumni of the university are no less than brand ambassadors and a true reflection of the principles and values the university stands for.
The university provides opportunities for interactions, career options, new job openings, etc to the alumni. The alumni help current students know about how things move in a corporate & what is expected from fresh graduates in an organisation or a company.
The alumni association also provides exclusive benefits for the alumni such as organising reunion events. Every alumnus is provided with a unique email ID which helps him/ her connect and network with other alumni. Alumni meet event is scheduled in cities like Delhi, Noida & Pune where students from different parts of the country come and share their experiences.
One can get the alumni e-mail id by registering him/her on the alumni network. Once you get yourself registered on the alumni portal, you constantly get reminders/ notifications regarding the suitable job opportunities/vacancies on your registered email id on a weekly or fortnight basis. Also, you can use the same portal to share your achievements, or if you have any opportunities, etc.

A strong alumni network which is present in the country as well as abroad helps in getting suitable opportunities & needed help to the juniors. And there are several alumni who kept on sharing relevant job opportunities on a regular basis. An alumni network does not only help the students but also creates a good/ bad image of the institute/ university across the country & globe, ultimately helping the current students to know about the scenario & requirement in various industries/ organisations. And this not only helps the students but also the institutes/ faculty members know about their alumni’s growth, and they can reach out to them for placements/ referrals if needed.
