FCBM, AGI is the perfect solution for any aspirant looking to develop their business skills, says Priya

I always got recognised as an above-average student in my school. Pursued my Class 11 & 12 in Commerce. In graduation, I chose BBA because of my interest in a corporate career. During my graduation’s final year, while digging for career opportunities, decided to pursue MBA and obviously for me FCBM, Amrapali Group of Institutes was my first choice as I graduated from the same college.

In my opinion, the MBA programme at FCBM, AGI is the perfect solution for any aspirant looking to develop their business skills and accelerate their career. The programme is carefully crafted to provide an unparalleled academic, social, and professional growth experience. The programme challenges students to reach the apex of their personal abilities by challenging them academically and professionally. The teaching pedagogy is interesting, meaningful, and has clear applicability to the everyday work of entry-level to executive-level managers.

As a student, I found this programme to be the complete package. The efforts of the teachers and the alignment of the content are exceptional. I measure the programme’s value in not only my career growth, academic learning, and skills development, but also in the opportunities that this programme gave me to explore more career avenues.

I still remember the days of my college life when teaching/learning got switched to online mode due to Covid 19 and it all seemed to be new as I was from a non-technical background and it was really a big task to participate in online classes. But gradually this academic need became my interest and started enjoying to Google new stuff in my domain. No companies were offering offline internships in this period so opted for an internship from “MWH Holdings” and “Intellify” in online mode only.   During my internship period, I got to build a network with new people and got to know new things to learn. I always assumed that tasks can be better performed individually but I was mistaken. Teamwork facilitates brainstorming, gives birth to ideas and this is when I realised the importance of team management skills

By the end of my first year, I was very clear that I am going to opt for Finance Specialisation. The reason behind my specialisation selection was not only my interest but it was also constant guidance of my faculties, who were always with me as a torch-bearer.

I have enrolled myself in a few online courses (i.e Financial Modelling etc), I found them to be really important for adding weight to my degree.

By the mid of our third semester, the placements drive got started and a new opportunity got shared on the display Board. It was from Tommy Hilfiger/CK.  Though it was not a financial profile but It captivated me and given my name for this drive. The entire process from GD to interview was conducted online. About 44 students from our own programme participated in the drive and the result said that I got selected.
