Introspect and find out your top priorities before making any decision, says Swati

I appeared for ATMA as one has to take various entrance exams for pursuing MBA from a reputed college. The best way to prepare for an entrance test is to first understand the syllabus and the exam pattern. We can join a coaching center for guidance. But we can crack any exam only when we are focused on our goal. So, always stay focused and eat healthily. Make a strategy for preparation, cover all the topics of the syllabus, and focus on weak topics and practice them more.

I chose the Commerce stream as I was fascinated with business from a very early age and wanted to opt for Banking Service. Pursuing commerce in Class 11 and 12 was the first step towards realising my dreams and I scored well in Board exams too.

By the time I took admission in graduation, repute and growth of private banks captivated me and I chose BBA in Graduation to learn and acquire knowledge about business so that I get wide span opportunities for myself and I passed with flying colours. I pursued MBA to enhance my professional skills and to gain practical know-how of a business and how to make quick decisions in difficult circumstances. MBA also helped me in developing my communication and presentation skills. I think MBA is best for developing professional qualities in oneself.

I chose FCBM, Amrapali Group of Institutes to pursue MBA because of proximity actually but later realised that it was one of the great decisions made by me as Amrapali provides a good platform to develop oneself, holistically.  The college environment was too good. Lots of activities and industrial visits took place. Enjoyed outbound learning activities admiring the green lush environmental beauty of our campus. One’s extended family i.e. College, Faculty and Friends are three things that can make you in life & I found myself lucky enough to be in my extended family AGI.

Take mock tests as they help us understand our strengths and weaknesses.

If our goal is set and we are focused and dedicated towards our goal, we can definitely crack the entrance exam and get admission in our dream course/college.

After my ATMA attempt, got calls from different other colleges too, but found FCBM, AGI the best because it was offering extra certification courses extremely valuable for enriching our knowledge base that too with no extra cost. Compared to other colleges I found something more in this college and that is, value for money. What we were paying to the college was worth the knowledge we were gaining from it.

Making a decision is not an easy task. You have to give time and energy to making the right career decision. Introspect and find out your top priorities before making any decision. Find out what your goal is and how you can reach it, and what action you should take now. Evaluate your decision whether it is realistic if there is anything preventing you from achieving your goal, who is with you and who supports and assists you in achieving your goal.

Despite having my keen interest in numbers, I chose to opt for HR as a major and marketing as a minor specialisation in MBA course. I took this decision as I am a firm believer of saying that-

People and their behaviors are what deliver results to your organisation. Not systems, not processes, not computers, not machines.

I am deeply appreciative that my experience in the MBA programme allowed me to provide valued insights to my supervisors while improving my management skills and my career prospects. I highly recommend the programme, and am proud to be an alumna.

It’s an immense pleasure to count myself as an Alumni of FCBM, Amrapali Group of Institutes. My efforts and teacher’s guidance paved the way for me to be the topper of my batch. During my MBA I had learned and gained extensive experiences which helped throughout my studies in all my thick and thin. The knowledge and discipline we get from FCBM, AGI is phenomenal which helps you to succeed in all the endeavours. I owe a huge vote of thanks to every opportunity given to me to explore my personality and potential at FCBM, AGI
