This college gave me an opportunity of hosting and build a strong personality, says Mayuri
Honestly, I was confused while choosing my stream for further studies i.e., Class 11 and 12, because I got 85+ percentage in Class 10. So, everyone wanted me to opt for Science as a stream. And I know we all face this situation and confusion except those who have already planned something else. But I took this decision on my own without forcing myself to take any decision. So, I choose Commerce and currently I am very much happy with my decision because I am loving what I am doing. And I would like to add that never take such a decision by force. Try to know your capabilities and interest before taking a decision.
I chose Atharva School of Business because I always wanted to add up value to my education and Atharva’s campus & PGDM programme provide various opportunities to each and every student by arranging events, mock GD, Mock PI and by giving guidance. In PGDM, I chose HR as my specialisation because working as an HR will give me growth in my career and also this profile will allow me to handle the whole responsibility of the organisation which is related to employees. And I believe my personality suits to this profile.
I have cracked CET which is the Common Entrance Test in the year 2020. I never took any coaching for any examination.
After passing CET, I applied in Atharva School Of Business for my post-graduation. This was the first college where I applied and I got a call for my personal interview from college. I went through the interview and I cleared it successfully. I always wanted to do my MBA/PGDM from Mumbai Atharva Institute.
I faced some challenges due to the pandemic situation. Everything was online, my interview was also on google meet which was very much new for me and I was not that comfortable with online mode because I had never gone through such an online kind of interview. But coronavirus changed the world and we have to get adjust in it. So, keeping this into my mind I just calmed myself and gave an interview.
Atharva Institution of management studies changed my life.
I am from a small town and I have already missed many opportunities. I have faced challenges in my life due to fewer facilities in the town where I live. I always wanted to be a part of various activities which will improve and develop me. As I have already mentioned I am a person who likes active participation in activities, events, etc.
This college gave me an opportunity of hosting and build a strong personality. I am a part of leadership talk and alumni talk for hosting. As well as I am a Member of the placement committee of students. Also, Worked as a coordinator in some of the events. Various events are conducted by the college every week to brush students’ skills & to give them corporate exposure.
This experience made me confident. And helped me to look forward for more and more opportunities which will help me in future.
I like the subjects which are related to human Behavior, learning and management development, training and development, and performance management.
I am looking for opportunities which will help me to grow in my career and help me to learn continuously.
