Q: What are the three things that MIT World Peace University is doing that will enable it to differentiate itself from other universities?
A: MIT WPU is a multi-disciplinary university. With over 100 courses offered at the same campus, the fact that remains the same among all these departments is the University’s values, ideology and ethics. Though all the departments function independently, all are driven by the same philosophy of having an updated curriculum. Besides this, what differentiates MIT WPU from other institutes offering similar courses are:
- It’s one of very few Research, Technology, and Innovation oriented University
- It Imparts a holistic value-based education system for the promotion of a universal culture of peace and welfare among the youth
- And, it emphasises on Biotechnology infrastructure and amenities
Q: What are the top three initiatives undertaken by MIT World Peace University that are helping your students become more industry-ready?
A: The ultimate aim of any educational institution is to prepare students for a better career. It could either be a job or a start-up or family business, but all of these require updated knowledge, work ethics and professional values. Considering this fact, we start working on the industry-readiness aspect from Day one. For this, we have
- A dedicated placements cell that aims at strengthening industry-academia relationships throughout the year with an objective to bring quality placements and internship opportunities to students and also exposure through industry visits
- A technology-focused Business Incubation Centre on campus to leverage entrepreneurial skills amongst students
- Always focused on imparting technology-oriented programmes

A: To qualify for admissions at MIT WPU, one must have the sound subject knowledge, good reasoning ability and scientific aptitude; He must also be motivated and progressive
Performing well in the curriculum is no big challenge. Students need to be thorough with subject knowledge, must develop practical skills, interdisciplinary approach, communications skills, competitiveness, and also be a part of scientific and technical clubs. All these skills develop during the curriculum, all we want is the student to be receptive and flexible to the surroundings

A: MSc Biotechnology is what I feel is one of the best programmes offered at the University
