Vardhaman Mahaveer Open University (VMOU) Result 2020: Semester, Revaluation, Reappear Exam
Established in 2002, Vardhaman Mahaveer Open University (VMOU) Rajasthan is a private university that was formerly known as Kota Open University. The University offers UGC approved distance and open learning courses at UG, PG, Diploma and Certificate level in the diversified fields of Science, Arts, Commerce, Management and many more. VMOU follows the semester exam scheme (odd semester and even semester) for all the courses. These are conducted every six months. The odd semester examinations are usually held between November & December, results for these are declared in the month of March (tentatively). The exam for the even semester commences in the month of May & June and the results are declared in the month of June (tentatively). The results are published only on the official website of the University.

VMOU Result 2020
VMOU has declared the December 2019 semester exam results on its official website (www.vmou.ac.in). Students can visit the website to check or download the results. Follow the steps given below to view or download the same:
Step 1: Visit the official website of VMOU and scroll down to the bottom of the page
Step 2: Under the ‘Examination’ section, click on ‘Results’
Step 3: The result page opens up wherein you need to click on ‘Click here for Detailed Results’
Step 4: The result login page opens up. Enter the ‘Scholar Number and choose the ‘Programme.’ Hit the submit button
Step 5: The semester score along with the result status will get displayed on the screen. You can now download the result or take a printout of the same for future reference

VMOU Evaluation 2020
As per the VMOU evaluation ordinance, the University has laid down certain rules and regulations to pass any particular course. To pass a particular subject of the current semester, a student needs a minimum of 36 per cent aggregate. A student is awarded division at the end of the semester basis the below-mentioned eligibility:

Note: In case of NC, E or H grade, students have to reappear in the end term examination again. Minimum fees for a reappear in UG courses is Rs 200 & for PG courses it is Rs 300.
Performance Evaluation:
The performance of a student is evaluated in three indices: SGPA, CGPA and YGPA. The CGPA is calculated based only on all pass courses ‘D and above grades’. The SGPA, CGPA and YGPA calculation process are mentioned below:
VMOU Marksheet 2020
Students need to collect their mark sheets from the respective academic departments of VMOU once the result is declared. The mark sheet of VMOU consists of the following information:

- Father’s Name
- Regional Centre
- Programme Course Code
- Marks Obtained
- Paper Type
- Remarks
- Status (Pass/ Fail)
- Overall Result
- Total Marks Obtained
VMOU Revaluation 2020
Students who fail in the exam or scored fewer marks than expected can opt for revaluation of the answer book. Students can select a maximum of two answer books for revaluation. The revaluation is only applicable for theory paper. Students can apply for revaluation of answer books within 15 days after the declaration of the result from the official website. The fee for revaluation is Rs 300.

Candidates need to follow the below-mentioned steps to apply for revaluation:
Step 1: Visit the official website of VMOU and scroll down to the bottom of the page
Step 2: Under the ‘Examination’ section, click on ‘Apply for Revaluation’
Step 3: Scroll down to your course and click on ‘Apply Now’ to fill the application form in online mode or can click on ‘Print Form’ to apply in offline mode
Online Mode:
Step 4: The revaluation login page opens up. Enter the ‘Control Number’ & ‘Date of Birth’ and hit the ‘Submit’ button
Step 5: The application form opens up. Fill the application form carefully and pay the revaluation fee of Rs 300 through debit/ credit card/ net banking
Offline Mode:
Step 4: The application form opens up. Download the form by tapping on ‘Download Now’ button and take a print out of the same
Step 5: Fill the application form carefully and submit it along with the challan/ cash of Rs 300 to the academic cell of concerned department.
VMOU Reappear/ Improvement Examination 2020
Reappear Examination: Students with ‘E’ & ‘H’ grade in any subject are required to appear in the ‘Reappear Examination’ in the subsequent years. The sessional marks obtained by the student in the first attempt will be carry forwarded to the final tabulation of the reappear exam. Students may obtain the VMOU Reappear Exam Form from the official website of the University. The form needs to be submitted back along within 15 days of the form availability along with an examination fee paid through challan. Examination fee for a reappear in UG course is Rs 200 & for the PG course it is Rs 300.
Improvement Examination: Those candidates who have passed in all the subjects in a particular semester can appear for an improvement examination to improve their marks. The improvement can be written only one time. Students can select only 50 per cent of the total papers of the exam. The improvement exam is only for theory papers. The fee for improvement examination for each UG courses’ subject is Rs 450 and for PG courses’ subject is Rs 750. Students need to submit the form for improvement examination in the concerned academic departments.
