Read the complete interview below.

Q: What is the difference between the teaching methodology in your institute and others?

A: Teaching methodology is a system of practices and procedures that a teacher uses to enable student learning. In our university, we achieve this with a difference.

It all starts with the process of recruitment and selection. Brainware University hires teachers with strong profiles from renowned institutions across the country, who besides being bright students, have an eagerness and inclination towards teaching. Secondly, we emphasise more on the practical aspect, rather than theory, to create learning awareness among the new generation and also to avoid monotony. The faculty members make it a point to make the class interesting and interactive. At the same time, students get an open forum to discuss their learning needs and teachers try their best to cater to their requirements.

The uniqueness of our team is that we always try to build a strong teacher-student rapport by making ourselves approachable and amicable. Special classes are also arranged on students’ demand.

Q: How are you preparing your students to be Industry ready?

A: The syllabus has been designed to ensure that it caters to the industry requirements and the course content is revised from time to time. Moreover, our university primarily focuses on practical application rather than on theoretical knowledge. It’s a known fact that after graduating, a student’s focus automatically shifts to the job rather than on the books left behind. We train our students to be successful professionals.

Our University organises seminars as well as competitions and exhibitions where students’ participation is mandatory only to build their confidence level and to motivate them onto an altogether different level. They are groomed from time to time by a team of expert trainers. In this way, they win half the battle and the remaining half by gaining and gathering knowledge and experience every single day.

Q: What quality do your students have which other college students lack?

A: What makes us stand apart is our outlook. We try to bring in students from all strata of society, irrespective of their financial background and provide them with equal opportunity. We conduct one-on-one interviews with prospective candidates to ensure their level of interest and eagerness to continue their studies. After much brainstorming and discussions with the Academic Management Team, we proceed with a student’s admission.

Q: Do you think the curriculum of the courses taught in your institute fits in the requirement of the industry?

A: Our entire faculty is extremely efficient and builds a curriculum taking into consideration all factors. Since much importance is given to the practical aspect without ignoring the theory part, it is evident that if a student regularly attends classes and follows instructions, he is bound to crack any interview he faces. Moreover, industry professionals and experts are occasionally invited to our campus to give lectures on their educational and professional journey and they give an overview of the operations of the industry they come from.

Q: Is your college receptive to innovation, technology, science & entrepreneurship?

A:  One cannot survive and sustain without being innovative and receptive to new ideas, technologies, methods, principles and ever-changing procedures. Brainware University is no exception; it’s always a step ahead to usher in innovations and new ventures to make the teaching-learning process fun and entertaining. The seminars and exhibitions held on campus bear ample proof of the innovative quality among our students. We give them every chance to showcase their talent and they, in turn, take it up as a challenge to face the world with grace and confidence. Often, meetings are held to discuss the exploration of new ideas. We invite industry professionals to spend quality time with our students so that they feel motivated from within, which, in turn, boosts their confidence level.
