Placements are good, approximately 90% of students get placed. Top companies come and recruit the students. It is the top recruiting university. The highest package offered here was 7 LPA and Average package is around 2-3 LPA and good packages are offered. Roles such as marketing are offered in the agriculture course.

It cannot be clearly said that which Institute provides better placement. The highest package which was offered at ILAM-JIMS is not mentioned, but the average package ranges between 3-6 lpa. The packages which are offered at Maharaja agrasen Institute Technology in 2023 placement drive were between 3-51 lpa. So the minimum packages of both the Institutes are almost same. Also, ILAM-JIMS is a better ranked university. The top recruiters at ILAM-JIMS were Tcs, air india, air Asia, ashok Leyland etc. Although both the institutes are of seperate feild so the actual comparison cannot be done. At last, it can be said that both the institutes are good at their respective feilds and offer good placements to students. 

Indira Gandhi Institute of Aeronautics, Chandigarh provides programmes including Certificate, UG Diploma in streams such as Hospitality & Travel, Aviation, and are excellent for students to build their careers.
