JAC Chandigarh Dates 2026: Check Complete Counselling Schedule Here

The Joint Admission Committee, Chandigarh, will release the JAC Chandigarh 2026 counselling application form in April.

The following types of candidates are not eligible in JAC Chandigarh round 2:

• Not paid seat acceptance fee after the first round of allotment.
• Withdrawal after getting admission in the first round

JAC Chandigarh 2026 counselling 2nd round dates will be announced on the official website. The entire counselling schedule will be hosted on the official website of JAC Chandigarh 2026.

JAC or the Joint Admission Committee will release details of JAC Chandigarh counselling 2026 in April. The details include the complete schedule for the counselling rounds 1, 2, 3 and spot rounds.

The following candidates are eligible to appear in JAC Chandigarh counselling round 2:

• Type–I: Registered candidates who were not allotted a seat in the First round. These candidates may visit the website and modify their earlier choices  (OPTIONAL) else choices submitted in the First Round shall continue to be considered in this round.
• Type–II: Candidates who were allotted a seat in the First round of Counselling and paid the seat acceptance fee and submitted willingness “No upgradation”. These candidates will not be allowed to modify their choices in the Second round. Note: Their earlier allotted seat shall be retained in the same category or in the upgraded categories as per General Seat Allotment Rules.
• Type–III: Candidates who were allotted a seat in the First round of Counselling and paid the seat acceptance fee and submitted willingness “Yes upgradation”. These candidates may also modify their earlier submitted choices (OPTIONAL) or their First round of choices will be considered for Second round of seat allotment. As per their final choices, a new seat may be allotted, or the previous seat will be retained. If this type of candidates desire to modify their choices in this round, then it is mandatory for them to have the previous allotted option as one of the filled choices in this round,  failing which the system will not allow to Save or Lock the modified choices.

JEE  Main Paper 2A (BArchitecture) score is acceptd for BArch admission via JAC Chandigarh. Additionally, candidates must have passed 10+2 scheme of examination with at least 50% marks in Physics, Chemistry & Mathematics and also 50% in aggregate of 5 subjects. Or, passed 10+3 Diploma examination with Mathematics as compulsory subject with at least 50% marks in aggregate. 

JAC Chandigarh counselling cutoff is announced after each round is over. After each round of JAC Chandigarh counselling the cutoff is published in the form of opening rank and closing ranks. The schedule of JAC Chandigarh counselling rounds is published on the official website.  The JAC Chandigarh counselling process includes registration, document verification, choice filling, seat allotment and physical reporting to the allotted college. There are usually 3 rounds of counselling and 1 spot round.
