KEE eligibility for B.Tech:

• Students should pass Class 10+2 with 50 percent marks aggregate in Physics and Mathematics, and any one of the following subjects: Chemistry Biotechnology, Biology Technical Vocational subject, Computer Science, Information Technology, Informatics Practices, Agriculture, Engineering Graphics, Business Studies. Or
• Students should a pass in the Vocational stream (with the subjects Electrical machines and Appliances, General Machinist, and Auto Mechanic, Electronic Equipments, Draughtsman Civil, Textile Technology, etc. ). With any one of the Engineering related subjects namely Physics Mathematics, or Chemistry with minimum average percentage put together 50 percent aggregate.

The application fee for KEE 2026 is INR 1000 (For all Programs), and foreign nationals have to pay USD 250.

To be eligible for KEE 2026, candidates must have at least 50% marks in class 12. They should also have 50% marks in aggregate in Physics and Maths.

Though it will test you in every field, still you can conquer it. KEE (Karunya Entrance Exam) test students in Mathematics /Biology, Physics, Chemistry+(general aptitude). You can excel in aptitude part with regular hard work and clear understanding whereas for your stream subject you should do regular practice and revision for the same.

The subject combination needed in class 12 to be eligible for KEE are:

50% marks aggregate in Physics and Mathematics and any one of the following subjects: Chemistry / Biotech / Biology / Technical Vocational subject / Computer Science / Information Technology / Informatics Practices / Agriculture / Engineering Graphics / Business Studies

or

Vocational stream (with the subjects General Machinist, Electrical machines and Appliances, Electronic Equipments, Draughtsman Civil, Auto Mechanic, Textile Technology, etc.) with any one of the Engineering related subjects namely Mathematics, Physics or Chemistry with minimum average percentage put together 50% aggregate.

To be eligible for KEE 2026, candidates must have at least 50% marks in class 12. They should also have 50% marks in aggregate in Physics and Maths.

In the KEE 2026 application form, candidates have to uplaod -

• Scanned photo
• Scanned signature
• Scanned class 10th standard mark sheet

The signature that is to be uploaded in the KEE form must be below 100 KB in size and the file format should be JPEG.

The KEE application fee can be paid in online mode only. Note that, fee submitted through any other mode like money order, demand draft, IPO, etc. is not accepted for online KEE applications.

No. Candidates have to fill only single KEE application form. It doesn't matter if candidates are applying for one BTech course or more than one.

The applicants of KEE can check the status of their application on the official website. Candidates will get a prompt online when their form is successfully submitted after successful payment of the KEE application fee.

No. The KEE admit card is issued only to the candidates who complete the KEE application form submission successfully. To be able to complete the application form submission succesfully, candidates maust pay the application fee  before the deadline or else their registrations remain incomplete. The candidates with incomplete application form are not issued the KEE application form.
