LPUNEST 2026 Exam Pattern: BTech
The LPU NEST 2026 will be conducted online. The LPU NEST question paper will include a total of 100 objective-type questions. There will be four sections, namely Physics, Chemistry, English, Maths (OR) Physics, Chemistry, English, Biology. There will be twenty-five questions each in the Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics, Biology and English sections.

Commonly asked questions
Each question carries four marks. There will be four marks awarded for each correct response. No marks will be deducted for a wrong response. Exam is conducted for 500 marks. There will be 125 questions asked in exam.
Unlike other entrance exams, LPU NEST does not have negative marking. Candidates can attend all questions without fear of losing marks. This approach allows candidates to maximise chances of scoring well by making guesses or eliminating unlikely options.
LPUNEST Exam Pattern 2026: Marking Scheme
Each correct answer in LPU NEST will be given 4 marks. There is no negative marking in LPU NEST. Therefore, no marks will be deducted for incorrect answers.
