After the of the UPTAC choice filling process is over, the UPTAC 2025 seat allotment process is done based on merit and the JEE Main ranks of the candidates.The UPTAC seat allotment result is made available under the respective login of the candidates on the website - uptac.admissions.nic.in.

Candidates can check the allotted seat from their login. Once the seat is allotted, candidate can choose to 'freeze' or 'float' their seat by paying the seat acceptance fee. After paying the seat acceptance fee, the seat acceptance details will be made available to the candidates, that will display the willingness of the candidate to participate in the next step of the counselling process. The stage-wise allotment and willingness details is made available under the respective logons of the candidates.

After the allotment of seats in the UPTAC counselling process, candidates have to freeze of float their allotted seat. The meaning of freeze and float is given below:

1. Freeze: A candidate who chooses to "freeze" accepts the seat and does not want to participate in further rounds of seat allotment. In case of 'freeze' of the allotted seat, the candidate will not be included in the next stages of counselling for the upgradation of the seat, but the category of their allotted seat can be upgraded/changed in the next stage.
2. Float: A candidate who chooses to "float" keeps their allocated seat but remains eligible for further rounds of counselling. Candidates who choose the "float" option are considered for upgradation.

Candidates who do not accept the seat, i.e. do not pay the seat acceptance fee, will be disqualified from counselling and will not be allowed to participate in any further stage of the counselling process.

All those candidates whose documents are verified successfully can proceed o fill choices in UPTAC counselling. The UPTAC choice filling is the process where the candidates fill in the option of branch and institute as per their JEE Main rank and category. Candidates are advised to choose only those branches/institutes in which they are interested in taking admission.

The list of courses and institutes available to the candidates is displayed based on the candidates’ rank in JEE Main. Candidates can select and arrange the choices in order of their preference. For UPTAC counselling 2025 choice filling, candidates have to login to the counselling portal using the JEE Main 2025 application number and UPTAC counselling password.

The UPTAC 2025 counselling registration process starts with registration with JEE Main 2025 application number (or applicable entrance exam application number), name, mother's name, date of birth and gender. This is followed by the creation of a UPTAC counselling password, filling in of required details, uploading necessary documents and paying the counselling fee. Applicants appearing in the UPTAC 2025 counselling can pay the application fee through net banking/debit card/credit card. Candidates are advised to check the eligibility criteria before filling out the UPTAC counselling application form 2025. 

The following documents must be uploaded after UPTAC counselling registration:

1. Academic documents: Class 10 and 12 mark sheets and passing certificates, relevant entrance exam admit card and scorecard, and transfer certificate or migration certificate
2. Identification: Aadhaar card, PAN card, or passport
3. Category certificates: If applicable, for reserved category candidates (OBC/SC/ST)
4. Domicile certificate: For Uttar Pradesh students
5. Subcategory certificates: If applicable, for freedom fighters, the physically handicapped, or the armed forces
6. Medical certificate: Medical fitness certificate
7. Income certificate: If applicable, for candidates seeking fee concessions
8. Character certificate: Character certificate
9. Recent photographs: Recent passport-sized photographs

Responding to document verification queries: UPTAC counselling document verification is conducted online. Candidates have to upload their responses to queries from authorities regarding the documents if needed. Once resolved, candidates can proceed to the UPTAC counselling choice filling process.
