The followig candidates are not eligible for round 3 of UPTAC counselling:

• Candidates who have not deposited seat acceptance/confirmation fees in the first and second phases.
• Candidates who have withdrawn in previous stages.
• Such candidates who are found ineligible after online certificate/record verification.

The following candidates are not eligible for round 4 of UPTAC counselling:

1. Candidates who have not paid the seat acceptance fee in stages 1 or 2 or 3.
2. Such candidates who have withdrawn in the previous stage.
3. Such candidates who are found ineligible after online certificate/record verification.

The UPTAC counselling eligibility criteria for BTech & M.Tech (Integrated) course is:

Passed 10+2 examination and obtained at least 45% marks (40% marks in case of candidates belonging to SC/ST category) in the subjects taken together.

OR

Passed D.Voc stream in the same or allied sector.

Yes. Candidates filling the Online UPTAC Application Form are required to upload scanned images of his/her the latest color photograph and signature. Application forms having blurred photographs are liable to be rejected. Therefore candidates must be careful while uploading the scaneed images of their photo and signature in the UPTAC 2025 registration form.

The candidates who become eligible for UPTAC counselling round 2 are:

1.  Such candidates who have registered and deposited the registration fee but have not filled any option in the first phase.
2. Such candidates will not be allowed to fill in new options or modify options. The previously allotted seat (institute, course and discipline) will remain the same and can be upgraded to their allotted category as per the rules.
3. Such candidates will be allowed to modify their options. The seat allotted prviously will stay. They will be considered eligible for seat upgrades. If the candidate does not make any changes in the options, then the options of Phase-1 will be considered final for Phase-2.
4. Candidates who have registered, paid registration fees and filled options but have not been allotted any seat in the previous phase will be allowed to modify their options. If no changes are made to the options filled earlier by the candidate, then the options of Phase-1 will be considered as the final options for Phase-2.

The last date to apply for UPTAC 2026 counselling will be announced. The online application form for UPTAC 2026 counselling is made available at uptac.admissions.nic.in. Admission to various courses is based on national-level entrance exam scores like JEE Mains, CUET (UG/PG), and NATA.

The candidates who are eligible for UPTAC counselling have to complete the UPTAC counselling 2026 registration, upload documents, complete document verification, fill choices, check allotted seats, submit willingness and pay the seat confirmation fee.

After every round of counselling, the AKTU releases the UPTAC counselling cutoff. UPTAC counselling cutoff 2025 is released in the form of opening and closing ranks. The exam authority releases the UPTAC cutoff separately for all the courses and categories. Candidates do not require any login credentials to check UPTAC cutoff.  However, candidates must fill in details like round, institute and category to check the UPTAC counselling cutoff 2025. 

The following candidates are not eligible for UPTAC counselling round 2:

•  Candidates who have been allotted seats (Freeze/Float) but have not paid the seat acceptance fee in the first stage.
• Candidates found ineligible after online document verification.

No. Candidates DO NOT need to send “Confirmation Page” printed after completion and submission of online UPTAC application form to the University. However, the candidate should keep the printout of the Confirmation page for record. Candidates are also advised to note down the Application Form Number for any future correspondence.

If any document/declaration submitted in UPTAC counselling is found invalid or false at any stage, then admission of the candidate will be cancelled. They may also be liable for legal procedures. In case of any legal dispute, the jurisdiction will be limited to Lucknow courts only.
