CSAB Cutoff 2026: The Central Seat Allocation Board has released the CSAB Round 1 & 2 cutoffs for NEUT, Special and Supernumerary counselling rounds. The cutoffs are made available as CSAB opening and closing ranks after each round of the counselling process.

CSAB Cutoff 2026
The Central Seat Allocation Board (CSAB) publishes cutoff ranks for its three counselling categories: NUET, Special, and Supernumerary. These rankings are issued following every round of each counselling type.

The CSAB headquarters will transfer the collected fee to the allotted/admitted institute. Thereafter, the cancellation and refund/forfeiture will be handled by the allotted institute as per their rules/norms.

Yes, it is possible to get a B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering through JOSAA (Joint Seat Allocation Authority) or CSAB (Central Seat Allocation Board) in lower NITs (National Institutes of Technology). Yes, you can.
Acceptance of seat in JOSSA round has nothing to do with CSAB round. You can surely sit in CSAB special round.
Last year my brother got NIT jalandhar EEE in 7th round. Then he went to NIT jalandhar for paying initial fees and giving documents.
Then he sat in CSAB special rounds and got NIT delhi ECE in round 2.
Hence, he accepted the seat and his fees in NIT jalandhar was transferred to NIT delhi along with other documents.
Yes, Central Seat Allocation Board provided reservation to reserved category candidates as pe the rules. Applicants applying for CSAB counselling with reservation must upload required documents at registration. It is necessary to upload certificate/required document to avail the reservation at the time of admission. Any candidate who fails to produce the reservation documents at the time of admission will be considered for general merit seats.

2) Participate in CSAB — extra chance
3) Don't skip state counselling — OBC quota there can be very beneficial
