Mystory@Vihang: How I made the most of my college life
Well to begin relating experiences of my awesome journey, I would like to start by saying that I have studied Commerce and the subjects taught became easy only because they were taught to me by extremely good and experienced faculty.
If you ask about the selection of subjects then we were given the choice to select from two subject groups only. Thus, on one side we had to select from Secretarial Practice and Maths; here I chose Secretarial Practice, and the other choice was between Marathi, French and German. From these, I selected French and overall it provided me with a nice experience to learn a new language.
Selecting the college depended on the marks one scored in Standard 10, the area you lived in and your caste category but please do not take this (reservation) in a wrong way. Not even in my dreams did I imagine that I would get admission in Ness Wadia College of Commerce.
After I failed in Standard 11, I gave my exam externally which was a good experience. I feel that it all depends on how you take it. Well after that came the summer vacation in which MAH-CET was announced for professional courses such as BBA, BBM (IB) and BCA.
My college life: classes, extra-curricular activities and more
My college life was awesome. Right from Junior College to my third year, everything was good – the faculty and the library which offered good books to read as well as to take home at the Home Reading Section. The auditorium in the college campus offered students a very good chance to display their talent in front of an audience. Well the most awesome thing was the annual event “Infinity” which offered a platform for many students to showcase their talents. It was a brilliant experience to work with different students with different outlook. It was due to this very reason that each and every event was a grand success. But one thing that I learnt from all this was that once you get along with people, you get to know their thinking and then you can mould them to agree to your point of view.
I did not experience hostel life but sometimes I used to go to meet my friends who lived in a hostel and I used to chat with them.
If I was to choose a course other than BBA then I would consider joining the Tourism Industry as I love to travel and discover new places. If I would have done anything in a different manner then I would have tried to pursue a career in music as I love music.

Opening cutoff: ~82.2%
Cosing cutoff: ~63.2%
To secure admission, aim for at least 60% and above in your HSC exams.
If you are targeting higher preference categories or better chances, a score in the 65–80% range is safer.
